The space

The dome is located in the forest on 22 acres that we call Farfalla. Less than 10 min drive to Helen, Yonah Mtn, Anna Ruby Falls, Lake Unicoi, and so much more! As former adventure travel guides we fell in love with this area because of the great hiking trails and stunning national forest that surrounds Sautee.
Bathroom:
The dome has a detached shared bathhouse with a walk in shower, toilet and sink. The bathhouse is +/-200 feet away from the dome and requires walking outside and up a semi steep hill. You will have a private outdoor shower attached to the dome. Our outdoor shower is not active during the winter due to potential of frozen pipes. Please message us if this is a concern! We provide shampoo & conditioner! The bathhouse will be shared with 1 other dome on property.

Our Dome is a short drive to the German Alpine town called Helen, GA (5 miles) near Anna Ruby Falls & Unicoi State Park (10 min drive) the epic Yonah Mountain (10 min drive), NoFo Brewery (10 min drive), Yonah Mountain Vineyards (10 min drive) Sweetwater Coffee House (3 min drive) Indian Mound (5 min drive) Lake Burton Beach (15 min drive)Appalachian Trail (20 min drive) Chattahoochee River (5 min drive) & so much more! If you're looking for an outpost to explore what North Gregoria has to offer (hiking, shopping, vineyards, local flare) you've found the right location!

This experience is not for everyone. The dome is immersed in nature. This means you will see bugs, spiders, and may encounter wild animals including deer, birds, racoons, armadillos, coyotes, and even bear. Please do not leave food outside and be aware of leaving smelly food in the dome.
Cooling & heating: *Please read if booking October-March*
The dome has a minisplit heater and AC system, however it is not insulated and can be cold when it’s lower than ~40 F outside. It has a lovely green house effect during sunny days! Please pack layers and be prepared for inclimate weather. It does a pretty good job of heating however it isn't as efficient as a heater you'd find in your home. The air conditioning works really well! If you have questions please reach out.
Farfalla:
The dome is one of four rentals on our 22 acre property. All rentals have about an acre of designated private space surrounding the rental. We intentionally built as far apart as we could and staggered each rental to preserve privacy. All dwellings feel remote and removed from each other. Wil, Molly, & our doodle puppy Junie B (the owners) are often on site but out of view working on land maintenance projects. When we are here if you need anything we're happy to help but will stay out of your way to respect your space! We love North Georgia and love to give area suggestions!
Guest access
Guests have access to the 22-acre property and are welcome to explore the forest. Guests will also have access to one side in the detached bathhouse shared with 1 other dome. We have white ties on trees to help you identify where our property line is while exploring the land.
Other things to note
-June-Dec we are only able to accommodate 2 night stays during weekends (ex: Fri - Sun) it will give you an error if you try to select a check out or in on Saturday. Message us with any questions!
-This space at max fits two adults and a small child. The bed is fixed to the ground and there is not enough room for an inflatable mattress. Please consider renting another space in addition to this dome if your group is larger than two adults and one child or you require parking more than 2 cars.
-Please note that date changes cannot be made during the cancellation period—thank you for your understanding!
-No smoking of any kind allowed at the dome. Fines may occur if the rental is left with an odor related to smoking. Thank you for understanding.
