We had a wonderful time at Juergen's house. He was a great host, providing us with entertaining conversation and a quiet comfortable room. He made us feel at home immediately. The location is particularly convenient for the Pima Museum and Saguaro East.
It was a pleasure staying at Juergen's place. His place was conveniently located about 20 minutes from the gem shows I was attending. The room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was provided. Juergen was a gracious host!
This was the perfect place for my short business trip to Tucson. It was very comfortable and conveniently located to everything (supermarket, drug store, shopping etc.), with all the necessary amenities.
Of course, the highlight of my stay was the first-class host. Juergen makes you feel like you are right at home from the moment you walk in. He provides you with your own key to come and go as you please and is always available if you need anything. He has a seemingly endless supply of stories to share and is knowledgeable about pretty much every topic. I am really glad to have met him and will definitely stay here again on my next visit.
Great location for me. I was booked for a star-gazing tour on Mt. Lemmon, on the east side of Tucson, and Juergen's house was the closest place I could find. He's also close to one entrance of Saguaro National Park, which he told me was well worth the visit. (it was indeed). His house is in a quiet neighborhood, close to all the things you need, but the best reason to stay at his place is him. He really knows all the ins and outs of his town, and has traveled a lot! (Be sure to ask him about the time he drove to Buenos Aires.)
Juergen was an engaging host who knew provided many recommendations about "hidden gems" in the area. We actually spent several hours just chatting about travel in general. The room was comfortable and clean.
Hi. Juergen's room is quite cool and very comfortable bed. You will wait awhile for hot water when showering but that is common in AZ. I don't have anything but nice things to say about this wonderful place.
Jurgen was such a great host, we had a great chat where he told us all about the area, but then he gave us our privicy and was very respectful. The breakfast was such a bonus. We even got to take away some great sci-fi from his book collection.
Juergen was a very nice host and great to communcate with.
I had arrived late that night and wished we could have chatted much earlier. However, I arrived from Albuquerque New Mexico (9 hr drive) and was so tired.
There was a continental breakfast that Juergen offered which was so nice! I didn't expect that and it is so appreciative!!! It definitely beats McDonalds breakfast...!
I would definitely book with Juergen again w/o hesitation if I am in the area. He is a very intelligent man and professional.
All the best,
David A. Warner
Juergen was a friendly host when I stayed at his airbnb room in Cottonwood. I arrived after dark so should have had a flashlight ready as it was difficult to find the door! The bedroom & bath were clean; except for the spiders around the ceiling (which probably collect quickly in Oct. in higher elevation AZ). I found the bed comfortable but could have used more blankets. Juergen left out foods for me to have for breakfast because I left at the crack of dawn; so considerate.
Juergen was a great host! We stayed with Juergen in Cottonwood for the rhythm and ribs festival and he was an excellent host. He gave us advice for places to visit and things to see while we stayed in Cottonwood. He told us about this cool mining town called Jerome which we visited 3 times because it was so close by! He had breakfast and drinks for us when we arrived. We will definitely be staying at Juergen's next year when we come for the festival in October!
