Unlike most tourist accommodation Labini Street offers a unique environment which is truly Maltese. It is historic, quirky and comfortable. Mdini is on the doorstep and buses to all parts of the island are only a few minutes walk from the house. We thoroughly enjoyed our week in Rabat.

Fantastic house in a really convenient location close to buses and the Mdina gate. Also close to many of the begged to the west of Malta. Ian and Marthese have been great at communicating before the stay, and also for showing us around the house and the immediate area. The house is well decorated with many interesting historical features. The rooflight was great to have. We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend it.

This house is truly special. Meticuloulsy restored with some amazing modern touches added. It is like staying in a living museum. The location is fantastic with Rabat and Mdina on the doorstep. Ian and Marthese were most help - I cannot recommend this place highly enough!

This place was perfect for a couple--comfy bed, lotsa other living space, great location, very historic, wonderfully decorated. It would be not so great for, say, two couples, as the second bed is not private (pass through it to access roof terrace) and the third bed is a sofa in the upstairs living area. For a family with kids, fine. If you think you might like it, book it--you'll be very pleased!!!

Response from Ian:
Thank you for your review Judith. The house comprises of 3 fairly large living spaces. One is located on the ground floor, the second is on the first floor (There is a full grain Habitat sofa that converts to double bed which we choose not list on Airbnb since it is a walk through room) and the third which is private, with a private terrace. We have rented the house to many double couples in the past 7 years. We hope to host you again.

Gorgeous architecture and beautifully appointed. Stone floors are chilly in the winter and glad we had our slippers. Two moveable heaters alway kept us warm. Kitchen was stocked with full breakfast plus more. Communication was always prompt and the perfect location in town for transportation and eating! The best part was a personal tour of the neighborhood highlighting transportation, medical, groceries, local events, attractions, and recommended restaurants. Marthese treated my husband and I like friends rather than clients. Highly recommend this accommodation.
