We do not allow pets, cigarettes (all inclusive anything you puff) candles or incense in order to minimize allergy issues for us and our guests.
What a fantastic place and exactly as described and pictured. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept on. The Country Cottage was clean, organized and had everything we could have needed. Spent each morning drinking coffee and walking along the fence line behind the barn to see the animals starting their day. The dogs, Delilah and Jake were so sweet and the goats so entertaining to watch.
The country cottage was a wonderful place to stay on our family vacation. We were very comfortable and enjoyed the property. Jerry was very welcoming and made our stay cozy. This is the perfect location to stay if you're visiting the Asheville and Weaverville area.
We loved our stay at the country cottage! Everything was exactly as described. The place was clean, cozy and charming. We weren't around during the day very much and met Jerry on our way out. He was very personable and friendly. This area definitely has a peaceful farm/country feel yet it is not far at all from Weaverville and Asheville. We loved hanging out with the goats, chickens, sheep, ducks and dogs! We would definitely stay here again and will let others know about it.
The cottage was homey and just as described! The eggs were delicious and the farm animals were a unique sight and pleasant to see out of the window each morning. The location was just outside of Weaverville and provided a scenic drive everywhere we went. One of my favorite things was the crystal clear sky, which was perfect for stargazing.
Very much enjoyed the cottage! Nicely appointed, very clean and well cared for. We didn't want for anything, Jerry and Deborah have thought of all the little touches. We especially enjoyed the shower and the sectional couch. While our stay was brief and packed with driving the parkway and exploring the areas waterfalls, we did get a little time to enjoy the goats and chickens and dogs! The fresh eggs are a special touch!
One suggestion for fellow visitors is to bring your slippers- after a long day on your feet, they will thank you for it.
Absolutely would revisit the country cottage! Thanks for a pleasant stay!
From the warm welcome we received to the amazingly cute and well-behaved animals, it was a great experience from start to finish. The bed was very comfortable, the cottage is very well furnished. Small touches like providing a Roku, eggs and beers for guests were very much appreciated. We'll definitely stay here again the next time we're in the area. Next time, though, we'll stay longer, so that we can truly immerse ourselves in everything the cottage and their mini farm have to offer. Thanks to you both!
Enjoyed our stay at Jerry's cabin. Very clean, freshly decorated, comfortable cabin. Lovely quiet location that looks out onto a yard where bunnies nibble the grass and fireflies light up the night. Enjoyed the farm experience. Petting the goats and sweet, friendly dogs. Jerry is a very friendly, helpful host. Would definitely recommend.

About the Host, Jerry
Hello, my name is Jerry and my wife is Deborah. I am a retired Clinical Nurse Specialist and my wife is still working as a Respiratory Therapist. My current hobby is developing a sustainable goat/lamb farm which is up and running. Deborah speaks German so we would welcome our International guests to enjoy our charming country setting. We love to read, work on the farm, go for motorcycle rides and sometimes just hang out under the arbor Deborah insisted I build for her. So come join us at our castle nestled in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains.
