About This Listing
We would like to welcome you to our gay friendly home in the heart of Stoke Newington, a trendy, vibrant and safe neighbourhood with a village like atmosphere, close to the centre of London.
The spacious and stylish ensuite room is located in a new loft conversion and offers a double bed, television with DVD player, hair dryer and an international adapter. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and basin. The space is light and airy and we provide fresh bedding and towels. Our guests have commented on how private and quiet the room is.
Our welcoming kitchen is open to you so that you can help yourself to breakfast including home made muesli, fresh fruit, juices, tea, coffee, local bread and jams. Leading from the kitchen is our amazing garden that you are welcome to relax in.
We have a good wifi connection in the house. If you want to do some laundry, just let us know.
At the end of our road is Church Street, the centre of Stoke Newington, with cafes, restaurants, clubs, vintage shops and a large park with tennis courts. The local leisure centre and gym is a 10 minute walk away.
We have many public transport links to central London - always confusing in a new city but we will be pleased to help you find your way around:
•By bus the 73 takes you to King’s Cross station (30 mins) and Euston station and Oxford St with a final destination of Victoria. This bus operates 24 hours per day (at night it is known as the N73)
•The 106 bus will take you to Finsbury Park (10 mins) which is a major transport hub – the tube lines are Piccadilly and Victoria and there is an overground line connecting Peterborough to Moorgate. This is probably quicker but you don’t see as much!
•Overland train from Stoke Newington station to Liverpool St.
And if all this isn’t enough (!), one of the best bits of your stay will be meeting Lola and Scout, our 2 miniature long haired dachshunds who are always keen to meet new people
We look forward to hearing from you soon welcoming you to London. Our check in times are between 2pm and 10pm and checkout is at 12. If you want to arrive earlier it's usually ok to come and leave your luggage .

What a fantastic visit!
This is a nice room, in a beautiful house in a great neighborhood. We stayed in the room on the top floor which we really enjoyed. Tall people may have to duck a bit when using the bathroom, but otherwise I have nothing but wonderful things to say . The bed is low but super comfortable. The skylight over the bed was really cool. We had to draw the shade during the mornings, but loved having it open at night. The room has lots of plugs for all our electronics and excellence wifi.
Annie and Belinda are wonderful hosts. We really enjoyed getting to know them. We had some great chats with them around their table in the kitchen and their gorgeous garden. They shared a lot of information about the neighborhood. We came to London with the intention of spending all our time in the city, but really enjoyed exploring "Stokey" (as the locals call it) and nearby Angel/Islington. For visits into the city the house is very close to several bus stops. We will definitely be staying here again the next time we come in town.
We had picked this place because it was close to our daughter's flat. The experience we had was so good we would come back in a NewYork minute. From the welcome by Annie and Belinda to the great breakfast and enjoyable chats we couldn't have asked for better. The room was comfortable and well equipped but felt private. The neighbourhood is full of interesting shops and places to eat, a good base to explore London.
Back in Athens...back to reality...staying in London was a great experience, but staying with Annie and Belinda was the cherry on top!
You were incredible hosts...we loved the room, the breakfast, our jokes and our morning meetings for the busses :) !! We cannot thank you enough for all your help and we promise to visit you again!!!
Lots of sunny love

Annie and Belinda are very nice , kind and helpful. They prepared nice breakfast for us and provided helpful information about the transportation. we love the house very much, it is very very warm and clean. The decoration is perfect. There are a lot of paintings on the walls, which are wonderful. I really like the color and decoration style in the house. It is more beautiful more the pictures.
Our stay at Annie and Belinda's place was wonderful. They were great hosts - friendly, welcoming and helpful. We got maps and guidebooks a plenty! The room was immaculate, stylish and very warm. Breakfast was great - homemade buns one day and was always a great time to chat with our hosts, share stories and laugh. We'll be back, if not to stay then most definitely to visit.

About the Host, Annie And Belinda
We love London life and London living. The diversity, the culture and opportunities of the city are second to none and we really look forward to sharing the city with our guests. We live in a wonderful area of London, so close to the centre yet with a village like feel to the neighbourhood. We enjoy travelling, sport, reading, drinking fine wine and our 2 miniature dachshunds, Lola and Scout, are very precious to us.
