About This Listing
A beautiful, cozy, and comfortable studio situated in a Dutch monument (we love our facade) in Amsterdam's charming and historic city centre. The monument is located in a quiet street in between two beautiful canals. The Anne Frank House, 9-streets, Dam Square, Central Station, the best and most trendy restaurants/shops, and much more, are all within a short walking distance.
Both studios are identical and are situated on the second and third floor. They can be rented separately or together. Each studio accommodates two persons, but there are possibilities to put an extra mattress on the floor. On Airbnb the studios are named "Idyllic studio in historic centre A" and "Idyllic studio in historic centre B". Please feel free to contact me if the studio's seem full, often we can still arrange something.
The stairs to reach the studios are not the typical crazy steep and straight stairs found in many old Amsterdam houses, as our stairs curve up a bit at the lower part.
We have included the following - free of charge - items in each of our studios: Linen, Towels, WiFi, Nespresso Coffee, Soaps.
Other features of our studios are listed below:
- Hand basin
- Blow dryer
- Fully equipped kitchenette
- Flatscreen tv
- DVD player
- Double bed
- Lounge sofa
- Table with four chairs
Antonio was a really great host and easily available. He gave us a bunch of local tips about the neighborhood when we first arrived. The lovely little apartment had everything we needed for our 4 day stay. Very clean and functional. And the location was perfect – quiet area right by 9 Streets and a short walk to Jordaan and also to bustling Leidseplein.
Perfect space for two in a gorgeous neighborhood that is very centrally located. Check-in/out was seamless and Antonio was incredibly helpful and quick to respond if we had any questions. He was very kind to offer us the opportunity to store our bags since we had a late flight departure. I truly wouldn't hesitate to book this studio again during my next visit to Amsterdam- such an incredible value!
Le studio est super bien situé. Bien qu'il soit tout proche du centre, on entend rien la nuit. Si il y a des soucis, le propriétaire est très disposé à nous aider. Logement à recommander sans faute.
Antonio was great on the meet and greet. The apartment is small but clean and very functional and the bed is fantastically comfortable. The apartment being just on the first floor, not too many steps up, is a bonus in Amsterdam. It was warm and cosy on the cold Spring days and the coffee machine was very welcome. It is really well positioned for exploring the city and yet is quiet at night. We love that it is so close to the 9 streets and the Jordaan and a short tram ride to Central Station. There are also lots of good restaurants, bars and cafes in easy walking distance. We had a great time here.
Antonio was a great host! He was in communication with us from the moment we arrived in Amsterdam and greeted us upon arrival at his studio.
The studio itself is bright, clean and modern. The shower was wonderful! ...and since i am a girl, i really enjoyed the nice blow dryer he provided. It was a major step up from what the hotels provided. The location is great for walking or taking the tram with lots of restaurants, shops and bars nearby. The street is short and quiet.
If we ever find ourselves in Amsterdam again we would definitely stay here again.

About the Host, Antonio
Hi, my name is Antonio and I'm from Italy, and I live in Amsterdam though. I love travels ,other people and cultures ... so I run a B&B. I also like good food, as a matter of fact I own a an Italian restaurant, which is at walking distance from the flat. You can also rent (at low rates some bikes to get around the city) and I offer also a service of electric cars (to be rented) which, beyond being ecologic, can be parked for free everywhere in the city. I look forward to see you in Amsterdam, Antonio
