This apartment is ideal for couples who want to enjoy a relaxing visit to our charming town or Cortona and also a good base for exploring the nearby towns of Montepulciano, Pianza, Siena, Arezzo etc… Our apartment is located on the forst floor of the historical Palazzo Quintani, constructed in the 13th Century, one of the oldest and most well preserved buildings in town. Sole apartment is one bedroom, two bathroom apartment with lounge and kitchen area. Double bed and pull out sofa. All linens, towels and blankets provided. WIFI available in each room, central heating, TV led, microwave, washing machine, toaster, kettle.
The apartments are independent inside the old building "Quintani", you will share only the the the entrance hall with others guests. Check out must be done before 2 pm
Interaction with Guests
The apartments are located on the first floor of the building. We are on the 4th floor, in case of help we will be at your disposal. We ask that you keep the noise level at a minimum after 11pm and that you take out trash and recycling for stays of more than 3 days. Appropriate bins are located at the bottom of the street.
Our apartment is on a main street, Via Roma, leading to the center of town, Piazza Repubblica and Signorelli can be reached in less than 3 minutes walking. Directly on or connected to our street you can find some of the highest rated RESTAURANTS in Cortona, including La Bucaccia, Locanda Pozzo Antico, Fufluns, Cacciatore, Osteria del Teatro, shopping, a supermarket and wine market and a tourist info point.
5 minutes walk from a free public Parking just off the ancient walls where you can find also the local Buses stop.
Reach Cortona by Train
Is possible to reach Cortona by trains very easy from the most tourist places like ROME, PISA, VENICE all you have to do is to get the the line Florence – Rome and stop at station of “Cortona-Camucia” station which is the closest to Cortona and but is served only by slow trains called “Regionali”,or the other train station of Terontola served by faster trains called “IR” Intercity. Boths stations are connected to Cortona by bus. The Terontola station is 10 km from Cortona and the Camucia station is 4 km from Cortona. The train schedules can be obtained from the official timetable of the “Treni Italia” website.

Just outside of the trains station of Camucia on your left you will see a bench covered where to take a bus for Cortona centre. Usually buses fall every half hours. The same from Terontola station where the bus stops is in front of the trains stations about 15 meter at your left. See the OFFICIAL TIME SCHEDULE and click the number buses references LFSU4 from the list. (last bus to Cortona is at 8pm. On Sunday is at 07.10pm)
Remember is important to buy befor you’re tickets to go. You can (email hidden) of the station or at the Tabacchi shop walking 5 minutes up to the main road in front to the station. You’ll find the tabacchis shop right after the first (email hidden) left. (Routers feed are 1.50€ for person)
Other Things to Note
The grocery store is only 4 minutes walk from the apartment, in the main square Piazza Repubblica. The Market offer a wide range of products and Tuscan wines.
The apartments are on the first floor of a historic building, no pets allowed, except small, is not allowed to smoke in the stairs and in the apartments. In respect of the residents of the building and the neighbors after 11.30pm levels of noise (television, radio, shouting) should be maintained in accordance with the laws in force. For those staying for more than three days there is an obligation to comply with the municipal regulations for the collection of separated waste, the apartments have the specific bags and bins for the collection of waste to be carried out following a weekly chart.
