Thanks so much for your help.
I only saw Patty for about 5 minutes at the beginning of my 2 night stay so I never got that "welcome" feeling that many reviewers have expressed. But all I really needed was a room and it was reasonably priced, clean and the bed comfortable. However, the window air conditioner in the room was not keeping up with the heat and humidity.
I stayed with Patty the night of the 4th of July. We got through the firecrackers on the porch pretty well with a glass of wine. The home is old and creaks pleasantly like my grandmothers use to. The bed was comfortable and myself and the other guest had the use of the kitchen and bath. No problems.
Our stay at the Farmhouse West Memphis was perfect. Very easy to locate off of HWY40 as we headed west to Austin. Patty was warm & welcoming. A very peaceful & comfortable place to rest.
We liked it so much that we're staying again at the Farmhouse on our way home.
We did not receive the warm reception that everyone else seems to have received and I can only guess we hit an off moment (we all have those). The room was simple and clean enough for a place to sleep on our way through town.
Our stay at Patty's was very enjoyable
We arrived late to the house but greeted with nothing but friendliness and smiles. Great old house with lots if charm and character. Nice conversation and very helpful with local places to visit. Ended with a great cup of coffee on the cozy porch. Will definitely stay here again. Thanks Patty.
This was our first air b&b. She was welcoming and even waited up for us because we got to town late. Her house was clean and parking was in a safe driveway behind her house. She also had great coffee in the morning. I would definitely stay there again.
Patty was extremely patient and cordial. Regardless of my late arrival due to a blown tire, she was still there to greet me. I had a great night of rest and early next morning at my departure, she was again there to wish me good luck.

About the Host, Patty
I am a welcoming host, but keep in mind....
Be sure this casual environment is your cup of tea. I get plenty of wonderful, laid-back guests who love my home. If you are not laid-back, please look for something more expensive that suits you better...
I am a very liberal, open minded person, but conservatives, namely Republicans, may be put off by the environment in my home. It is my home, so be sure it works for you.. There are lots of options in Memphis to consider.
Also, the Farmhouse does not discriminate against any one except religious fanatics who judge others based on their lifestyle. This is an open and affirming home.
