Staying with Patty was great! The house was really cute and the bedroom was cozy and exactly as advertised. I came late and left early, so I didn't spend much time there, but it was a perfect stopover on a long road trip.
Patty was very accommodating with check-in and informing us about her space as well as directions. The space was clean with great amenities and laid back atmosphere! Would totally book again!
Staying here in the West Memphis room was a delight. The house was tidy and clean as was our bedroom and shared bathroom. Patty was a pleasure to talk to and brought a very homely feel to our stay. Would stay here again and recommend to anyone.
Patty was incredibly kind and prepared everything for us even at the last minute. She was renting out three rooms (two across from living room from each other and another upstairs). Two room downstairs were sharing a bathroom together. Our room was very clean and well organized. Everything we needed was all provided for us. She has two cats and one of them will be sneaky and might cuddle with you but not a problem if you want to keep her out. House was very quiet and it was about 10-15 minutes from downtown. She also has a very spacious/safe parking space in the back for multiple cars. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a quiet place away from downtown.
We had a nice stay at patty's, although it might not be for everyone (she might be somewhat offputting for very conservative folks) . The room and house are nice, clean, and Patty is a nice person.
Our stay at Patty's home was delightful. The room and bathroom were exceptionally clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Communication was fantastic. I would highly recommend staying with Patty!
I never got to meet Patty but her communication & directions were perfect. She was so helpful & understanding (my first Airbnb trip...I got confused with my different hosts..my bad). Her home was beautiful & close to everything we needed/wanted. After long hours of driving & cramming in sight seeing, I was finally able to relax with a glass of wine on her gorgeous front porch. Will definately go back to Patty's & stay longer!!

About the Host, Patty
I am a welcoming host, but keep in mind....
Be sure this casual environment is your cup of tea. I get plenty of wonderful, laid-back guests who love my home. If you are not laid-back, please look for something more expensive that suits you better...
I am a very liberal, open minded person, but conservatives, namely Republicans, may be put off by the environment in my home. It is my home, so be sure it works for you.. There are lots of options in Memphis to consider.
Also, the Farmhouse does not discriminate against any one except religious fanatics who judge others based on their lifestyle. This is an open and affirming home.
Guests are allowed to have coffee and to use the frig, the microwave and the toaster in the downstairs kitchen, but no cooking on the stove, or in the second floor kitchen. I decided it was too risky when folks aren't familiar with my appliances.. Sorry
