  • Our stay in Trevi was perfect and Valeria's studio was wonderful! We were picked up from the bus stop by her mother in law; the studio was cosy and had everything we needed; there was lots of helpful information waiting for us on the table and it was always easy to communicate with Valeria. Highly recommended for a relaxing time in a small Umbrian town :) Thanks Valeria!

  • My 17 year old daughter and I were beyond thrilled with our journey to Trevi Italy and our stay at Valeria and Stephan's studio apartment. It was a true Italian village and absolutely majestic. We experienced the realness of Italy, not just the tourism. I can honestly say that even though most of the residents of Trevi did not speak English (and we knew a total of 15 words in Italian), we still managed to make some amazing friends and felt like we had lived there our whole lives. There were many tears and hugs involved on our last day and we both consider Trevi our new home away from home. All of this was of course thanks to our wonderful and kind hosts. The apartment was a great size, everything was spotless, we had plenty of hot water and room to cook with our local Trevi Olive Oil. They had a cold spell when we got there and even we had heat in the apartment, Valeria was kind enough to provide us with extra warm, fluffy blankets. I don't know what they use to wash things in, but our sheets, towels and blankets smelled amazing. Valeria and her in-laws treated us like family, offering to show us around, us going to the bar and finding a free desert and wine left for us, providing rides to and from the train station, having the front door fixed within an hour when it had swelled too much from all the rain, providing us with very detailed info on everything to do in the area, bus and car rental info etc...the kindness never stopped. I am hoping they will someday come visit us in America so we can repay all the love and generosity. Trevi was an amazing central location to everything in Italy and train prices were very cheep. We spent a lot of time exploring the countryside via all the hiking trails, went to the local theatre (amazing), ate local foods that I dream about nightly and will never have anything so amazing until I return to Trevi. We did survive without a car, but next time we go, I will for sure rent one, so we have more time to explore smaller towns as it is very safe to drive in this area. I cannot recommend Trevi and Valeria's apartment enough. You will be welcomed into a family and you will leave missing them all and wanting to buy a home in Trevi. It was the most special part/experience of our entire trip throughout Italy. There is a wonderful little grocery store, the friendliest Bar in the world, many local restaurants with great food, a quick bite pizza place and more. The best place to eat is at Ristorante Osteria la Vecchia Posta. When you go, tell Marco that Tammy and Madison miss him and our daily amazing meals! Thank you Valeria and Stephan for posting this perfect apartment on Airbnb, so we could have memories of a lifetime!

Hi Tammy and Madison..thank you for your very kind review! ! Hello from all your friends in Trevi :))) waiting for you again…!

  • Valeria's apartment was very good, clean and cozy. The Apartment is supplied with everything (and even more than sufficient) most travelers may need in their trips.
just one thing about the bed, its not a king size than it appears from the photos and maybe tall people may have problems.
Valeria and her family are really nice and great people who would be glad to provide any help they can.
They pick up us at the train station and provided us with map and even delivered a good italian extra virgin oil upon our arrival!
I would definitely recommend this apartement.

  • We stayed at Valeria's studio for 6 nights and it was a lovely experience, The room is small but very cosy, it has everything you need. The village itself is beautiful. Lots of picturesque surroundings, lots of wonderful views. Restaurant La Cantina on the main piazza is very nice. We met Valeria just during our final day there, but she was ready to help us any minute by the phone (and she actually did it). She told us a lot about Trevi, events, transportation in great detail and showed herself as an excellent host, Her parents in law live less than 100 meters away from the studio. Elena took us to the train station, when we're leaving. I totally recommend everyone to stay at this place!

Thank you very much!!! It was a great pleasure to host you!! Good luck!

  • Valeria is a great host! My boyfriend and I stayed in Trevi for 4 nights in her lovely little flat. The apartment has everything you need for a good stay and was very clean. Her mother in law even picked us up from Trevi train station and checked us in. Just an FYI Trevi is a wonderful small town but if you don't have a car it is very hard to get to other towns by public transportation. We greatly enjoyed our stay!

  • We had the most amazing time. The apartment was perfectly formed. Our hosts did everything they could to make our stay memorable. Trevi is wonderful and we will miss it terribly. It was PERFECT!

  • Trevi is a wondeful village. Valeria was an excellent host. She was very helpful and even arranged to have someone pick us up from the train station. The apartment was very comfortable and homey. Although we stayed during the middle of summer, the apartment stayed very cool and we barely used the air conditioner. The apartment had everything we needed, plenty of blankets, shampoos, and all the basic kitchen products.

Trevi is a stunning village and very picturesque. It is small, but has a nice grocery store and plenty of lovely restaurants. I would recommend Taverna Del 7, it had delicious food at reasonable prices. We ate there twice in 5 days!

Overall, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to have a quiet and peaceful time in a classically beautiful Italian village.
