Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • We had a little hiccup initially with the check in where we were booked for 2 rooms but mistaken for just 1 room booking, Lucy managed to resolve this quite quickly.
Lucy's a nice lady, however we found that the cleanliness of the rooms to be lacking. There were no fresh sheets nor linens for both rooms, nor towels prepared when we arrived. Her other flat mates had to help us locate where she'd kept her towels, and it was later in the evening before we got some new sheets which we had to lay on our own.
Locations not too far off from city centre, however much to be done on overall condition of rental place for the price.

  • Lucy makes her guests feel very welcome and at home. There is a small balcony off of the kitchen where we enjoyed our mornings with toast and coffee. The view from our bedroom was wonderful to wake up to. And the park near by was perfect for a long walk or to get a bit of exercise. Thank you, Lucy!

  • Lucy was so accommodating. She planned to pick us up at the harbor, following our river cruise. She made us breakfast and took us to the train station in the morning. She is an amazing woman who made us feel very welcome. She is friendly and helpful. I would recommend her to anyone.

  • Lucy was very friendly and approachable. She helped us in every way that he could and my friends and I are greatly appreciated! Her apartment is SUPERB, one of the best apartments that I've rented throughout my travel journey. Lucy even provided milk for us even though she was away in Germany, which we felt was very thoughtful of her. I would recommend his apartment to everyone and I'll definitely find her if i were to return to Basel again! Kudos to Lucy once again!

  • Lucy kindly fetched us from the train station. She is very very friendly and helpful. Even though she went to Germany during our stay, she even requested her friend to bring us some milk and bread! We were very touched by what she did! Her apartment is very clean and very near to the Basel sbb, about 10 mins walk. Lucy gave us maps and directions too! We also managed to cook in her kitchen and her fellow tenants were superbly friendly as wel! Overall an excellent experience and hope to stay in Lucy's apartment again!

  • Thank you so much for the pleasant stay! Lucy was a wonderful host and most generous and did all her best to make it comfortable for us.
She spent time with us even though she was in the middle of moving. Her home is clean and comfortable and Lucy cooked a fantastic meal for us, thank you again. We wil tell our friends if they visit Basel to go to Lucy's place. Hope that we see you soon Lucy and Chris. Dank je voor je gastvrijheid Lucy and Chris en we hopen jullie snel weer te zien.

  • We (with my girlfriend and an other couple of friends) had great time at Lucy's place, where we stayed for a week end. We felt really comfortable and free, materially speaking as well as humanly. A lot of space in a quiet place provided us all the rest and the tranquillity we were looking for. A good address, and a nice person. Thanck you Lucy.
