  • I really liked staying at Josh's house on Clayton. It is just a few blocks away from the historic Haight-Ashbury intersection and the area is chock full of interesting shops, cafes, and restaurants. Not to mention there are some great parks nearby. Public transit (bus) was easy and it is not infeasible to walk to the house from the Market area as well if you are motivated (it takes about an hour).

The house was clean and everyone else staying there was courteous. The process of getting there and into the room was really smooth, as the house has keycode-based locks so there's no awkward fiddling with keys or calling. Would stay again.

  • Was conveniently located, clean and exactly what I needed for a few days. The water by the door was greatly appreciated.

  • Great, easy stay, bed was comfy and house was quiet. Loved the neighborhood, quirky and interesting with great vintage shopping and places to eat. Cookie jar was great :)

  • I stayed in Room n°5 for 5 nights, and it was perfect for a single traveller. The neighborhood is great, you have everything at hand, and it is very convenient for public transportation. I would certainly recommend this room if you want something small, yet in a good part of town!
I did not get to meet Josh, but his instructions were very clear and helpful. Also, you don't have to carry a key around, which is great.
