We're new to airbnb as of this summer, but we've had students from all over the world live with us! Louise speaks French.
We ask that you remove shoes before entering house--lots of slippers for you to wear!
No-smoking in the house.
After 11 p.m. we ask people not to make a lot of noise.
We had a lovely stay here. Louise and Jim were very friendly and helpfull. Their home was near a bart-station so we could easely get downtown. And we didn't have to worry about parking, because there was a spot for us on their driveway.
For us it was the first time with airbnb and we loved it! Louise and Jim were very nice people and friendly and helpful hosts and the area is very good as a base for a citytrip. The underground is walkable and close to their house are some nice little restaurants and bars. We definitely recommand these guys!
Our stay was terrific! Louise was so friendly and nice--we had coffee and croissants with her one morning for breakfast. We wish we could have stayed longer! The house is beautiful, clean, and exactly as pictured. Our room was very comfortable. We had a car, so the parking space came in handy. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in SF.
Also--if you're hesitating to stay here because you're not a dog person, have no fear! We generally aren't dog people, but we LOVED their dog. She is really quiet and unobtrusive and never barked or jumped on us, etc. She really didn't pay much attention to us.
It has been great staying with Louise and Jim. They are so nice and helpfull with anything. They made coffe for us in the morning and served crousiant. We will highly regement staying at their place. If we come back we will defintely stay at their place :-)
Quartier commode , plutôt bien desservi par les transports en commun.
Accueil aimable et agréable.
We had a wonderful time with Jim and Louise. Not only did we sleep comfortably but we all had coffee together and had wonderful chats. We found we had many shared life experiences. It was do grounding and welcome to get to know such interesting people. They recommended wonderful restaurants and took us on a tour of their garden! What a great experience!

Jim runs three times a week, works on his art, reads, does house projects and volunteer work. He loves watching sports. Louise teaches creative writing classes and writes books--and we both love reading, visiting museums, watching movies, seeing plays, visiting with family and friends and experiencing the great outdoors. We love meeting new people from all around the world.
We also still love to camp and Jim recently climbed to the top of Telescope Peak in Death Valley. Keeping active--mind, body and spirit--is important to us--as well as learning about life through all the new people we meet. We're also both independent people and understand and respect the need for privacy!
