The village of Mendocino is a magical seaside retreat. A perfect get away from the bustle of city life. This unique building is a modern structure built in the shape of the water towers that dotted the village through the early 20th century.

The space
This charming water tower was built in 1997 and is modeled on the water towers that were popular in the 1800's in Mendocino.
The downstairs is a full studio complete with Kitchen and bathroom. Bath facility is a shower no tub. White water ocean views from all rooms. There is a trundle bed(2 singles) and and a fold out couch that can sleep two. Above is a loft sleeping area good for child or young adult.
Upstairs bedroom, accessible by outside staircase, is a large bedroom with queen size bed and windows on three sides.
Their is a TV and DVDs available without cable in the tower. there is a large library on the third floor.

Guest access
The deck outside the main house is available for your use, as is the gas fire pit. In addition guests are welcome to use the bocce ball court in the yard.

Neighborhood highlights

Our home is on a private dead-end road, with a view North directly up the coast toward Pt. Cabrillo Light House. It is a quiet peaceful setting with few full time residents. Because we are situated adjacent to the State Park preserve there is abundant bird life.
