My spacious place is conveniently located in the port wine caves district - away from the noise and chaos of downtown!
You'll have quick and easy access to the river, wine tasting, cruises, cable-car, Ribeira. The city centre is a relaxing walk or short bus ride away.
There's numerous cafe's right on your doorstep for coffee, cakes and tapas. Also nearby is one of the best places to try a Francesinha - Porto's famous culinary dish.
For wine tasting, the popular Grahams port lodge is just across the street. You can learn the history of Port, tour its impressive caves and receive 3 excellent wines, all for a very reasonable 5€!
For outdoor sardine tasting, the charming Fisherman's village is on this side of the river and superb beaches are minutes away by car or public transport (1 min walk to bus stops).
*Porto is an easy city to fall in love with and I'll be here to make sure you get the most out of your trip - passing on local knowledge and acting as your on call information desk :)
Private bedroom, private bathroom with access to large balcony and chairs. Shared kitchen use and living room access is also possible. Washing machine can be used too.
Interaction with Guests
Totally up to each guest!
If you want privacy you'll get it, or if you're looking for a more immersive local experience then that's fine too :)
The superb views of Porto, port wine caves on doorstep and easy access to the best beaches in area.
Bus stop is 1 min walk with frequent services to city centre (8 mins ride) and also to the nearby beaches.
For those with own transport, there is also free parking available in front of building.
Driving from the airport takes only 15 mins, or you can take the metro into centre + connecting bus (total cost €2.40)
Smoking is allowed but only outside on the balcony/terrace (sheltered even when raining).
As I live in an apartment building, I do need to respect the neighbours and avoid making too much noise after 11-12pm. Therefore I request all my guests abide by that too.
It's better suited for enjoying a good nights sleep than party animals :)
