About this listing
Nice apartment in the center of Rome big and bright Esquilino neighborhood, within walking distance from the railway station. Housed in a lovely nineteenth century (eighteenth century), nearby are Colosseum, Piazza Venezia and the Roman Forum, Santa Maria Maggiore.
The apartment is composed of:
1 double bedroom (with double bed),
1 living room
The kitchen is fully equipped with all utensils and appliances (refrigerator, tea and coffee), also in 'apartment you will find the sheets. If you are traveling with children is ideal. The Esquiline district is a very central area with all services. Shops and restaurants are everywhere.
I usually await guests at the address of the apartment, so that I can explain everything regarding the property.
We'd like our guests to be informed that since the 1st of January 2011 Rome City Council is asking for an overnight accommodation tax on tourist service in the city. This fee, 3.50 euros per night (10 nights maximum) per person (with the exception of children up to 10 years and in Rome residents), is not included in the total rate, and has to be paid cash upon arrival.
Check in after 20:30 30 euro to pay cash at the arrival. 50 euros after 0
The apartment is located near the main train station of rome. We could reach nearly every sight by foot.
On the negativ site we have to say, that the apartment wasn't as clean as we had expected from the pictures and the other reviews. The bathroom looked like it hasn't been cleaned for quite a while.
There was no free parking. You can park on the streets for approx. 3 hours free or for money for 8 € a day if you find free space.
During our stay the host changed her Username Tao into her real name Serena which was a bit confusing. When we told her about the not so clean bathroom she said, that it is just old. As it isn't here own apartment she said she will speak to that with the owners.
dear sonja i apologize for this but this is the first time that this flat has a not so bad rewie. the parking free is just on the street and you had simply to ask me once arrived. My name is Serena and Tao for the guests, but i'm always me from long time here on airbnb. if you had found the apartment is not to your liking you can communicate with the host before the last day , so that in the event of a reason to intervene.wait until it's finished stay to write a bad review seems a little ' free punitive and not suitable for a communicative mood and holiday .
Thanks anyway ;)
The location of the apartment is a great starting point to every direction of the city. The neighbourhood seems very quiet, a bit more lively perhaps in the morning rush hours, but still calm.
The place is fantastic, looks just like on photos, but even bigger. There are some great art books which are very worth listing and huge collection of music and films. So you know what to do, if there is by chance any rain. :) Kitchen is also great, we bought food in the supermarket just across the street and had big breakfasts before going out.
Tao was a great host, everything was clean and on time!
What a terrific host for a terrific flat! All you'll need in a central location in Rome. Easy walk to Metro and sightseeing, authentic dining nearby, best gelato right across the street. Super comfortable bed, reliable wifi and all the amenities you'll need to live like the locals. Tao is adorably personable, helpful, and very communicative. I would happily show her around San Diego if she came to the States. Exceptional hospitality! Grazie Tao!
Très bon accueil, appartement spacieux.
le métro est tout proche et la gare Termini accessible à pied.
l' appartement est très propre mais un peu bruyant car mal isolé.
je le recommande!!
Great apartment, close to Termini and Metro. Supermarket near by. Great base for exploring Rome. Tao was a great host.
