Susanna was a great hostess and was very welcoming to me. The home is beautiful and comfortable. I came and went as I needed and access was straight forward. The home is near the fun area of SoCo and very accessible. I would definitely stay here again.
We had a perfect stay. Susanna and her husband made us feel right at home in their beautiful and carbon-neutral home. The location of their home is ideal with several coffee shops and all the fun of S 1st and S Congress just a few blocks away. We hope to visit again soon!
My stay at Sussana's place was very comfortable. The room is spacious and very well taken care of by the host family. The house is stunning and located in a very nice neighbourhood, with a lot of places to eat, at walking distance. The description and the photos of the listing are very accurate.
Overall, my stay was very pleasant and convenient. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.
We had the best time at Susanna's place. She is a really wonderful host and gave us great suggestions for where to eat. We never would have found such gems without her and those experiences made out short sweet trip in Austin truly memorable. Her home is like an art museum and very peaceful and rejuvenating. We got some much needed rest there and would go back in a heartbeat, especially in the summer to try the gorgeous salt water pool! Thanks Susanna for being so lovely and hospitable and having such great taste!
Susanna's home is stunning and ideally suited to many great things that Austin has to offer. She provides a wonderful list of Austin favorites and is a consummate host. It's easy to walk from the property to great restaurants, shopping, galleries, nightlife and Town Lake, yet the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. She is happy to explain the technology behind the carbon neutral aspects of the house, and the reasons for the design and layout - which is beautifully thought out and well executed. Most importantly, she goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable and welcome, but allows you as much privacy as you like. I had a wonderful, albeit too brief, stay. Thank you so much for being so gracious and welcoming on such short notice, Susanna!
The listing was spot on. Susanna and Richard were very accommodating to our arrival and departure time.
Our entire stay was very pleasant. The location was excellent. Very short walk to several great restaurants, SoCo district and the bus stop. The neighborhood was ideal, quiet and great to have a little stroll. I was very happy overall.
My husband and I had a pleasant trip to Austin, Tx. It was our first time with Airbnb and if we return to Austin in the future, we will definitely stay with Susanna and Richard again if it is available.
Richard is a scientist, originally from Los Angeles. He likes kayaking in the morning on Lady Bird Lake which is within walking distance. Susanna is from Switzerland. She lives outside the box. Together we have travelled the world. Together we have two grown children. Together we collect art. Together we love to discover food, either by cooking it or finding good experiences in local restaurants.
