Welcome to Peaceful Songbird Cabin! A two bedroom cabin on our 4 acre property tucked amidst lush trees & located near all the action in the Texas Hill Country! We are a 5 minute drive to the best swimming spot on Canyon Lake, a 1-minute drive from Canyon Lake Dam & boat launch, and 3-10 minute drive to local restaurants! Songbird Cabin is a cozy serene space perfect for singles, couples, and small families. It comes with all the basic amenities, including a full kitchen & outdoor washer/dryer.

The space
Centered in the heart of Canyon Lake and close to restaurants, bars, White Water Amphitheater, and the best swimming spot at Canyon Lake and Guadalupe River, Peaceful Songbird Cabin is nestled on our private 4-acre property and right in the middle of all the action in the Texas Hill Country!

Living/Kitchen Area:
Upon entering, you'll find an inviting open living area with a kitchen and a beautiful wood bar top that’s adjacent to kitchen. The bar area serves as both a dining area and extra seating.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all the essentials for a comfortable stay, including a microwave, stovetop with oven, coffee maker, and full-size fridge. We also provide amenities such as full WiFi, towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.
Outside, shared with our RV, you'll find an outdoor shower with hot and cold water, a gas BBQ, smoker, tables, chairs, and even a charming tree house! We've put a lot of love and attention to detail into this cabin to ensure that our valued guests have the most relaxing, peaceful, and memorable experience possible.

*The TV does not have cable, but you may access Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, and others through the Smart TV APPS by logging into your account*

Sleeping Areas:
Relax in one of our two cozy bedrooms. The first bedroom, located off the living room that offers access to the outdoor patio, while the second bedroom, closest to the bathroom features a hideaway pullout pocket door, providing guests with their own private, closed-off space.

Outside Living Areas:
Unwind on our covered back deck, thoughtfully furnished with a three-seater couch, three additional cozy chairs, and an outdoor table perfect for enjoying meals or drinks. Additionally, you'll find a propane grill ready for your fun cookouts, ensuring memorable gatherings with friends and family in the comfort of your own outdoor oasis.

Parking:
There is parking for up to 2 vehicles right in front of your cabin and potential parking spaces for truck and boat trailers. Please reach out to us for more info.

CANYON LAKE & SURROUNDING AREAS:
Canyon Lake has an awesome vibe and is buzzing with things to do all year round, including scuba diving, fishing, boating, jet-skiing, sailing, tubing, kayaking, cycling, walking, etc. We are only 4 miles from the famous "Tubing at the Horseshoe" and "Whitewater Amphitheater" (with annual concerts by megastars such as Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard). Just down the road, we have "Granny D's" (the best breakfast place on the lake!), plus "The Italian Garden" and "The Silver Sage Grill" restaurants nearby at Hancock Plaza. New Braunfels and Gruene Village (home to the "Oldest Dance Hall in Texas," "Schlitterbahn Water Park," "Prince Solms Park," and the "Wurstfest") are only 25 minutes away. Tubing and swimming at Aquarena Springs in San Marcos are 35 minutes away, and the ornate and tranquil village of Wimberley, with its famous "Wimberley Square and Market Days", is a 25-minute drive through gorgeous Hill Country.

Guest access
Our private 4-acre property is designated for our family and other guests. It contains a multitude of wonderful dwellings, all very special and unique, plus a delicious vegetable garden and orchard. Our main home is the large white house you will see on your left coming up the driveway. Other owners live in some of the other cabins and the rest of our cabins and RV we offer on Airbnb. ***WE ASK THAT YOU PLEASE DO NOT WANDER THE LAND*** as our family and other guests live and stay here, each with their own designated areas. Please stick to your designated private area to respect the privacy of everyone on the land. Thank you so much!

Neighborhood highlights

Our property is on North Park Rd, right next to the gorgeous Canyon Lake Dam, which is only a 1-minute drive or a 10-minute walk away. Visitors come from all over to walk, cycle, or jog across this 1-mile-long dam. The views are spectacular, and the best swimming spot on the lake is at the far side of the dam. This is a quiet and safe residential neighborhood. Our property is nestled among the trees and unnoticeable from the main road making it private and tranquil. We are less than 1 mile from FM 306, have one of the best boat launches three minutes' drive away, and our "Brookshire Brothers" grocery store is only a few miles down the road.
