The Space

Our house sits on a large fenced-in lot with a beautifully landscaped yard, redwood deck, and ample parking. This is our home away from home, so it is furnished with everything you need for a short term retreat, including king-sized bed in the bedroom, comfy sectional sofa in the living room, soaking tub and separate shower in the bathroom. The kitchen comes equipped with new Bosch appliances (gas stove, oven, full-sized refrigerator, and dishwasher) and is fully stocked with pots and pans, dinnerware, etc. if you'd like to do some cooking and eat-in during your stay. There is wireless internet and televisions in both the living room and bedroom with DIRECTV service.

Our home is located in a perfect location for you to explore Napa. In a quiet residential neighborhood right off the Silverado Trail, you are just a few minutes walk from the Oxbow Market, a ten-minute walk from downtown Napa and the Wine Train, and a fifteen-minute drive from all the fabulous restaurants in Yountville.

Guest Access

Keyless entry system so we won't need to meet to exchange keys.

Interaction with Guests

We likely won't see you during your stay as we live in San Francisco, but we are available to help via email, text, and phone (and will drive up in case of an emergency).

The Neighborhood

The Alta Heights Neighborhood is bounded on the west by the eastern bank of the Napa River, on the south by Coombsville Road and Third Street, on the east by the City of Napa boundary, and on the north by Clark and East Avenues. It was originally settled primarily after the turn of the century. After the Great Quake of 1906 in San Francisco, many Italian families moved to an area in northern Alta Heights, which came to be known as Little Italy. When the Napa River flooded, this neighborhood's height off the valley floor has often been appreciated. It has interesting, varied architecture and many of the residences in Alta Heights enjoy sweeping views of the City of Napa and beyond.

Getting around

You can walk to downtown and the Oxbow Market very easily, but we'd suggest bringing a bike or car if you want to explore the area further. There are lots of neat bike trails along the Napa River and Lake Berryessa, as well as some beautiful rides to many of the local vineyards. There is plenty of space to park on the property, which is gated.

  • This was my first experience using Airbnb and I am so happy I came across this beautiful Napa cottage!!! The house is stunning inside and out! Marissa (email hidden) and made her home so welcoming! Everything you see & read is even better in person! The bed was so comfortable!! You're able to walk to Downtown Napa / Oxbow Market in under 10 mins! If you're on a budget and want to eat in, she has every kitchen tool you could think of! I would recommend this place to anyone! I intend on coming back and hopefully this Bungalow will be available!!! 5 stars!!!

  • Marissa was very helpful and answered all of our questions. She also had a detailed summary of great food, wineries, and things to do in the area which was very helpful. The house itself is beautiful, very clean and neat inside. The house was very accessible to downtown Napa, great location. The neighborhood felt safe, the gate was great and the key code option was very convenient to get in and out. Highly recommend! We will certainly return.

  • Out there in Napa Valley area, Marissa's place is a hidden treassure. Better than a 5 star hotel with all the commodities that a complete apartment offer. Modern furnished, clean and without missing details, this place was one of the best we stayed during our trip to California.
    Highly recommend

  • Marissa's place was the perfect location for a weekend we spent up at Bottle Rock. Walking distance to restaurants and the festival made it extremely convenient. Her place was both beautiful and clean- with all the comforts of home!

  • The neighborhood was a little further out of town than I initially expected, but it's still an easy walk to the Oxbow Market and then into town.

  • We had a wonderful stay at Marissa's home. It was exactly as described, modern and charming. The location was good, it was a short walk to restaurants and shops along the river and the oxbow market. It was a lovely stay and Marissa provided so much local information that was very helpful.

  • I can't say enough great things about Marissa and her adorable bungalow. It was the perfect stay for a perfect vacation. She has everything organized down to the detail, and provides a great binder of ideas/recommendations for your stay. Will definitely be recommending her to family and friends, and the 2 of us will definitely be back!

  • We could not have been more pleased with our stay at Marissa's Napa getaway. Easy walks to downtown Napa and instant access to the Silverado trail make it an ideal location. The deck and landscaping are great for some outdoor enjoyment. All of the amenities inside (flat screens, full size washer/dryer and modern kitchen and bathroom) are worth well above the pricepoint of this location. Marissa goes out of her way to answer any questions and make your stay as easy as possible. You simply can't find a better value in the area for the quality you get here.
