YES We are in the best location in LA!
Marni is a wonderful host and the home is in a great location! She provides everything you would need for a temporary stay and her personality is warm and endearing. If you have a car, she can hook you with a spot, which is a huge plus! Overall, it was a pleasure staying here.
You know, I just can't say enough good things about my experience here. First of all, Marni is AWESOME! She's so friendly, welcoming, a bright ray of sunshine, it was amazing meeting her! She did everything she could to make me feel as welcome as possible, and I felt that I was truly at home and comfortable.
The home is comfortable, quiet, and spacious, and situated in a great location in beverly hills! I was able to park on the driveway, and was given a key to the house. The bathroom was spacious, as well as the bedroom. I had full access to the kitchen, living room, and laundry room. The bed was super comfortable, and there's a window A/C unit that kept the room cool all night.
The internet was fast throughout the home as well, which is a big deal for me because I did a lot of work in my bedroom.
Marni let me come and go as I please, which was great because I work long hours. Again, she was accommodating to all of my needs and did the best to keep in touch with me throughout my stay.
Thanks for a great stay, and I hope to book here again! :)
Marni is really lovely, easy going, friendly and utterly accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. I loved staying there. I felt at home. The room is light and sunny and the bed very comfy. It's a beautiful area, very quiet and peaceful. I highly recommend it.
Marni is the coolest airbnb host in the world! I enjoyed so much my stay with her. Fun, easygoing and loving! The house itself is just perfect, very spacious and has everything you need. I wish I could stay longer here!
Wow, Marni is a most amazing host and a truly amazing person, with such positive energy. She has a beautiful soul that shines through and it will for sure make you smile. The house itself is just as great. It's an old stable that used to keep Marlon Brando's full blooded Arabian horses. The horses are gone now (obviously) but the estate is just as amazing as I imagine it once was. Peacocks roam free on the grounds, gazelle graze the vast parklike pastures, and the moment you set foot in the driveway servers and staff swarm you. It's quite the scene. Upon entering the house Marni will swoop down the staircase in a glittering evening gown once worn by no one other than Marilyn Monroe. She'll take you graciously under your arm and lead you into the east wing, the part where you'll later be retiring to. The room, or rather suite, is a grand composition of wood, fabric and light. The carpet is so soft (I think it's cashmere) that it seems to pull you inside, and the bed, so large it would fit a football team, is so comfortable it feels like you are sleeping in the hand of God.
After dinner, which is served on the finest silver ware once dined on by President Kennedy, there is complimentary massage and horse polo in the back yard. Cocktails are produced at a rapid pace by dwarfs in riding suits, and as the evening slowly progesses into night the 12-piece band begins to play Mozarts 7th.
Time for bed and when the ushers have brushed your teeth, combed your hair and tucked you in it is not long before you are asleep. In the morning you are awakened by rose petals gently brushing against your face, dropped from above by the hostess herself. Then it's off to a glorious breakfast on china that once belonged to the Emperor of China, eggs of all variations, quail, ostrich, kiwi, even swan. After this you are ready to take in the sights, and do some damage in the exclusive Beverly Hills stores. But not to worry, the room comes with a complimentary diamond encrusted Amex that enables you to shop till you drop, without having to pay a penny. All in all, it's a great place to stay and I recommend it.
Although the house isn't really Brando's old stable, and the plates aren't really the Emperor of China's, Marni's is a fantastic place to stay. Location is fab, the room is light and airy, and very quiet, and there's a private back yard, and hey, you even have your own parking spot in the garage which means no parking tickets. And everything from contact, check-in to anything that may arise during your stay, Marni will deal with it seamlessly.
But the peacock part is really true.
Marni and Nikki were wonderful hostesses. They are lovely women and made me feel comfortable and at home. My room was light and airy, and the home has a cozy, vintage feel, with a nice backyard and a garage that’s steps from the back door. The location is centrally located to all LA has to offer, and the neighborhood is clean and welcoming. I plan to return soon!
