The Space

The Post House apartment in picturesque Waringstown is the ideal location for a base to tour the heart of Ireland, or a weekend relaxing, perhaps a little retail therapy, or participating in your favourite sport and past time.

The apartment consists of two bedrooms (sleeps 4), 1 bathroom and a spacious living/dining area. It is located in the centre of the village overlooking the 17th Century Waringstown Mansion built by William Waring hence the name Waringstown.

All amenities are within a 10 minute walk of the apartment however the butcher, vegetable shop and the Post House Coffee Shop are within the vicinity.

Waringstown is convenient to market towns, Lurgan, Banbridge and Moira. It is also convenient to Armagh the Cathedral City of Ireland, cities Newry & Lisburn and is only 25 miles from the capital Belfast. There is a local bus stop to routes to Lurgan or Banbridge.

During the Summer with the World Games & concerts on every other week £50 per night is a brilliant incentive.

  • Great apartment, what really sets it apart is all the little extras that are provided. It was very clean and they were so nice about recommending areas and restaurants. Wonderful place to stay!

  • Well presented, welcoming and homely. Thanks to Will's mum for greeting us and thank you for the little extras.

  • We stayed in late August (4 adults) and had a great time. The flat is well located in a quiet and nice area and close to different attractions.
Will and Anne are very kind and we got information about how to arrive there and have flexibility on arrivals and departures times.
The flat has everything and is fully furnished and clean. Bathroom has toiletries in case you forget something, towels, shampoo, soap, hair drier etc, kitchen is well equip ed too with coffee, tea bags, sugar, oil etc.
There is a pub, a shop and a little restaurant within 5 minutes walking distance.
Leaflets and tour information booklets available in the flat.
Does not have wi-fi access and phone/mobile reception is bad so you have to go out the flat to get some signal.
We recommend this place if you want a clean, nice, easy accessible and near to different attractions accommodation. Five stars, we enjoyed our stay.

    Response from Will:

After the review from one of the previous guests, the bed frames have been replaced and I hope future guests will now have a pleasant sleep.

  • This is such a cute little apartment and perfect for us two couples. Very clean and they left out toiletries in case you forgot any or didnt travel with any at all. The kitchen was very accessible and had everything we could have need including our tea stuff for in the morning. The only complaint we had was on the beds frames was broken and that couple pulled the mattress onto the floor for fear of completely breaking the frame. Once this is fixed it really will make this such a perfect little experience. The location itself is very quite and so beautiful. The couple that let us in were just so so sweet and sicne we didn't have a phone they offered for us just to walk across the stree to their house at any hour if we needed anything and that was just so so nice of them. The checkin and out times are very flexible really allowing for any schedule you may need late or early. It was just a great little place to spend the night on our way through our travels. Thank you for everything.
