Welcome to our wonderful apartment! It's clean, bright, sizable, and cute! The apartment has one bedroom, one bathroom, a fantastic kitchen, and beautiful pre-war details like pocket doors, big windows, and an ornamental fireplace. We're close to MANY subway trains and just minutes from Manhattan, making getting nearly anywhere around NYC easy and stress-free (including the A, C, G, F, N, Q, R, B, 2, 3, 4, 5). On a quiet, beautiful, quintessential Brooklyn block close to bars, beautiful restaurants, grocery stores, movie theaters, wonderful bodegas, shops, and plenty of activities to keep you occupied. Located in Boerum Hill, we're surrounded by other prominent Brooklyn areas such as Park Slope, Cobble Hill, Brooklyn Heights, and Fort Greene.
We hope you'll enjoy our comfortable vintage modern style. There is one full-sized bed, along with a comfortable sofa that a guest could sleep on.
We have high speed wireless internet, a large television, cable, and an Apple TV with paid subscriptions to Netflix, and Hulu Plus.
Our kitchen features a full-sized fridge and gas stove, a microwave, and numerous appliances including a coffee maker, coffee grinder, and espresso machine. There is a fantastic grocery store a block away, perfect for nights in!
We do have two dogs who obviously won't be here during your stay, but if you're severely allergic to pets, this may not be the right apartment for you. That said, we're very clean and the dogs barely shed, anyway. The apartment is a 5th-floor walk-up and is not handicap accessible.
Please inquire about bringing pets. There is a washer and dryer in the basement of the building that takes quarters, or a wonderful laundromat one block away, where you can either do your laundry or have it done for $.89/lb.
We're a quick walk from several major subway lines, including the A, C, G, F, N, Q, R, B, 2, 3, 4, 5. There are also a number of good neighborhood car services available.
Daniel and his partner were fantastic hosts and I highly recommend this apartment. Communication was easy, there was a lot of flexibility in the arrangements and we were made to feel very welcome in the apartment.
Daniel/Max's place is adorable. Super cozy and well-decorated, great kitchen, comfortable bed, very clean. Only slight annoyance was the 5th floor walk-up but this is New York so what can you do :)
We also appreciated their suggestions for great places around town. We tried Walter's for brunch and loved it!
Finally, they are awesome to deal with. Flexible on check-in and check-out which are usually stressful times.
Alright Y'all. This place is immaculate. I'm talking gorgeous-every little detail-ceilings fit for a goddess-I never wanna leave-immaculate. It feels a lot bigger than the pictures make it out to be as well.
I had a really lovely weekend at Daniel's place. Communication was a breeze - Daniel was always prompt to answer questions or whatever during the entire process, and the check in/check out was totally stress free.
The apartment is conveniently located near the A,C,G & F trains, and the neighborhood has a lot to offer. I would absolutely stay here again!
We had and amazing stay at Daniel's home. He is a great host. Quick respose to all our doubts and questions.
His apartment is better than in the photos. It's perfectly clean, well decorated and very cozy. His kitchen has a lot of appliances and utensils. The main bed is very comfortable and we used their air mattress for our 2 years old son. Great living room, I spent some time reading in his Eames Lounge chair, a really comfortable chair. In cold days, we always felt warm. The heating system was old but useful.
If you go a with a child take care with some of the decorations and figures (we moved some around to get them out of our son's way). In the entrance there was a big mirror at the end of a passage which might not be the best for a running kid... But this is almost a non-issue because you only have to take care with it when you're going out. It's a 4th floor without elevator, but that's something Daniel told us and we were ok with.
About the neighborhood. We just loved it. It was so relaxing to spent time in a more calm and less touristy part of the city. The apartment is in a very peaceful and safe street but with all services in just a 1 minute walk distance.
Daniel's list of recommendations were a must. Now, we're in love with Ganso ramen and the Brooklyn Fare supermarket. There was a playground for our child and a Barns and Noble, just a 10 minute walking (perfect place to go with our son if it was raining). We also loved walking thorough Smith and Court street and discovering the local shops and restaurants.
There is a subway entrance just 2 minutes walk but also 3 other subways within a 5-10 minutes walking. There is more than 10 different lines that you can use. This was very useful.
So, I recommend this apartment. My family and I had a great time at Daniel's home.
This apartment is drop dead gorgeous. The pictures don't even do it justice. Its super clean, extremely stylish (I swear Dwell must've decorated themselves) and super cozy. Only draw back is that its on the 5th floor, but its well worth the exercise. They also have wifi, cable, hulu and apple tv. The location is also amazing. We came from Penn station and its a straight shot on the A or C. And their apt is one block from the subway. It doesn't get any better! I would definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Brooklyn.
Beautiful, comfortable, and peaceful apartment. Very close to the train. We would definitely stay here again!
Daniel's place has been by far the best airbnb experience i have had in NY. The apartment is cozy, full of character and good taste, and extremely clean. You just feel that you wanna stay in, but of course since you are in NY so you must get out, and this is also a big plus of Daniel's place because the location is very conveniente. Metro is just behind the building. If you feel like walking in 20 minutes you will be crossing Brookling bridge. If you preffer to explore Brookling this is a great starting point as well. Daniel was very easy to contact and check in process very smooth. My next visit to NY I will definitely try to stay here.
Daniel have a really nice apartment, really clean and well decorate! The apartment is well situated too, only 15 min by subway to Soho and 30 to Mid central park. The subway is at 2 min. by walk. Is it also really close to Williamsburg. Daniel is an awesome host I totally recommend his apartment!
Daniel's place is fantastic! Very clean and incredibly convenient location in Brooklyn. We would absolutely stay in this apartment again.
