Welcome to our wonderful apartment! It's clean, bright, sizable, and cute! The apartment has one bedroom, one bathroom, a fantastic kitchen, and beautiful pre-war details like pocket doors, big windows, and an ornamental fireplace. We're close to MANY subway trains and just minutes from Manhattan, making getting nearly anywhere around NYC easy and stress-free (including the A, C, G, F, N, Q, R, B, 2, 3, 4, 5). On a quiet, beautiful, quintessential Brooklyn block close to bars, beautiful restaurants, grocery stores, movie theaters, wonderful bodegas, shops, and plenty of activities to keep you occupied. Located in Boerum Hill, we're surrounded by other prominent Brooklyn areas such as Park Slope, Cobble Hill, Brooklyn Heights, and Fort Greene.
We hope you'll enjoy our comfortable vintage modern style. There is one full-sized bed, along with a comfortable sofa that a guest could sleep on.
We have high speed wireless internet, a large television, and an Apple TV with paid subscriptions to Netflix, Hulu Plus, and HBO Go.
Our kitchen features a full-sized fridge and gas stove, a microwave, and numerous appliances including a coffee maker and espresso machine. There is a fantastic grocery store a block away, perfect for nights in!
We do have two dogs who obviously won't be here during your stay, but if you're severely allergic to pets, this may not be the right apartment for you. That said, we're very clean and the dogs barely shed, anyway. The apartment is a 5th-floor walk-up and is not handicap accessible.
There is a washer and dryer in the basement of the building that takes quarters, or a wonderful laundromat nearby.
Our neighborhood is centrally-located and features beautiful tree-lined streets with stunning brownstones. Family-friendly with many attractions, shops, and restaurants nearby.
We're a quick walk from several major subway lines, including the A, C, G, F, N, Q, R, B, 2, 3, 4, 5. There are also a number of good neighborhood car services available.
No smoking please!
We ask only that you respect our space and treat it as you would your own home. When you go out, please make sure to lock the door properly (keys will be provided), and turn off the A/C unit and all lights when you are away from the apartment.
When you end your stay, please try to leave the apartment clean and orderly—no need for any major cleaning, but...you know, do your dishes.
We had a really great 4-night stay at Daniel and Max's apartment. It is very stylish, homely and comfortable. The interior design is really impressive and perfectly matches with the building style.
The guys were super flexible in terms of check-in and check-out time, which we really appreciated - Just wish we had a little bit more time to meet them.
I'd strongly recommend it for a quintessential Brooklyn "up and coming" experience, a few steps away from the big city. The neighborhood seemed relatively safe but a bit rough and with not many good dining/bars options (although, Daniel's recommendation list is really good). Very convenient to JFK (on the A line) and for several subway lines to Manhattan.
Such a beautifully decorated home. We loved being close to so many subway stations and tasty food options. The construction noise across the street was a little rough, but hey, it's NY! We'd definitely stay here again as Daniel and his partner were amazing hosts.
My boyfriend and I loved saying at Daniels beautiful apartment. So close to the subway ( at the end of the street) and in amongst gorgeous Brooklyn brownstones. The apartment is so tastefully decorated- you will never want to leave! Daniel was incredibly accommodating even before our arrival, and very prompt with his communication throughout the duration of our stay. We really enjoyed our few days at Daniel's and wouldn't hesitate to stay again!
Daniel made the entire process of booking, staying and leaving completely seamless for me. I was welcomed to the apartment, which is exactly how it is described and looks in the listing, and showed around promptly. Anything I needed was there and Daniel had thought of everything - even some ear plugs to block out the construction site across the street! The apartment is based in the perfect area and the host had left lots of tips for places to visit.
I will definitely be booking this place again for my next Brooklyn trip :-)
Daniel's apartments was absolutely lovely. The neighborhood is fantastic, the apartment is only one block from Atlantic Avenue and within walking distance to all of the bars, restaurants, and shops in Cobble Hill/Carroll Gardens. We were even able to walk to the Barclay's Center to see the Nets play! Daniel and his partner Max are absolutely lovely and accommodating. The apartment itself is beautifully decorated - it is clear from all of the design books in the apartment that good aesthetics are a passion of Daniel's! The space was quite large (compared to other BK apartments) and very calm and well laid out. The only negative would be the many stairs - but after the initial luggage dump this was not much of an issue. Overall, it was exactly the retreat we needed!
Daniel was a warm & accommodating host! The apartment was exactly as it appeared in the photos-clean, & modern with a touch of old world charm. I highly recommend staying at Daniel's place for your next stay in NYC!
