Deene Estate sits on 5.2 private acres built new in 2024, fully self-contained, zero shared walls. Anglers, couples, and groups all find their pace here.

Deene Estate is Altmar's only cabin with a custom 3,000 sq ft mini golf course steps from the world-famous Salmon River.
The Salmon River is a global fishing legend. Two international world records were set here: the largest Chinook salmon ever caught (47 lbs, 13 oz) and the biggest Coho salmon on Earth (33 lbs, 4 oz). Dozens of national and state records call this river home. Whether you're chasing trophy salmon in the fall runs or year-round steelhead and trout, this is the destination and Deene Estate puts you 5 minutes from the action.
Back at the estate, the fun doesn't stop. I'm from Guyana, raised in Antigua, and I built this property from scratch on 5 acres of upstate New York with no outside investors and no previous construction experience. COVID put me outdoors more than ever and the idea wouldn't leave so I acted on it. Deene Estate opened in 2024. I host it myself, respond same day, and know the Salmon River well enough to tell you honestly whether the water is fishable the weekend you're coming.
