Reclaimed Spacious Tiny Home

In the heart of Missoula

Just 1 block from the river trail, and a 10-15 minute walk to downtown, this eclectic tiny home was built in 2018 and features a wonderful combination of rustic and modern touches. The ceilings are vaulted giving the space an open and roomy feel, with the appeal of small footprint living. The space comfortably sleeps 4, but can accommodate up to 6.

The space
There is private parking in back, as well as Netflix/on-demand, dishwasher, washer/dryer. All the convenient amenities to allow you to relax and enjoy your stay in Missoula. And enjoy the town!

The tiny home is something of an artwork with a lot of Missoula history in it. The building was timber-framed, using lumbers from the historic Mercantile building in downtown Missoula (that was dismantled in 2017). The reclaimed tin on the exterior comes from the original Missoula Sawmill. The stairs outside (which lead up to Stephanie's work office) were salvaged from the Bonner Sawmill. We love reclaimed materials and we love up-cycling them into something new and exciting.

There are 2 grocery stores within minutes (orange street food farm, good food store), and just a short walk to some of Missoula’s finest cafes and restaurants (Bernice's Bakery, Le Petit, Kettlehouse Brewery, Green Source, The Bridge and GILD.

*** There is a small backyard area, where we will be putting a patio and awning this coming summer of 2019.

Missoula, Montana, United States

The Riverfront neighborhood has so much to offer, whether you are a couple coming to visit Missoula, a solo traveler, or a full family. Two blocks away you will find Currents indoor pool and swim park, alongside McCormick Park where there is an all-abilities playground/Mobash Skate Park, baseball fields and soccer fields. And a fishing pond! The Natural History Museum is just 1 block away, and just around the corner on Wyoming, you will find Dog & Bicycle, a great new cafe, as well as Osprey Baseball Field and Silver Park - where you can roam the trails, catch a game, or have a picnic for the day. Osprey Field is also host to many great summer concerts, including Paul Simon, Bob Dylan, The Beach Boys, just to name a few.

I am a personal fitness trainer. My husband, David, is a musician. We love hiking, going on walks, and exploring all Montana has to offer! We built our home, mostly our own labor, and used as many recycled items as possible!
During your stay
The owners live on-site in the main residence adjacent to the tiny home (which we have been renting out through AirBnB the past five years). So check out our reviews! Stephanie and David are readily available should you have any questions, or need any assistance, but we like to give you your privacy so you can make the place your own. Stephanie has been named a "Super Host" for the last four years. We look forward to having you!
