The apartment has easy access to public transport but you'll be so central you can just walk everywhere.
My home is furnished with everything you'll need for your stay - experience what it's like to live in the centre of Dublin, not just visit it.
If you need some advice on where to eat/drink/visit I'm happy to help.
The apartment is not suitable for children so it's Over 18's only. Just so you know I live up two flights of stairs - it's an old building so there's no elevator.
I really enjoyed meeting Sarah and staying at her place. Her apartment is beautiful and she was extremely helpful to us and made our stay in Dublin so memorable. I highly recommend staying at Sarah's if you are going to Dublin.
This apartment is exactly as described by Sarah - central, warm, very well equipped, bedroom is lovely and quiet. Our stay was made all the better by excellent information provided by our host for restaurants/pubs/supermarkets etc - all in all - first class
Sarah's place is well located, nicely designed and very clean. She has good taste in art and furniture which made the stay even more pleasant. Sarah is also more then helpful: she responded immediately to all my emails and had lots of good advice on places to visit. Her instructions on how to manage all aspects of the stay were clear and well written. We had to get in touch with her at an obscenely early hour the day we left and she was gracious and accommodating (thanks again!). The building is old and charming. The floor boards creak and you can hear the neighbors (like the other reviews say), but this was only a mild inconvenience. The neighborhood can get loud in the evenings, but the bedroom faces a quiet courtyard in the back. The location is minutes away from most of the major sights in Dublin (across the street from a few as well). And although it's a touristy area, there are still lots of good places to visit that are steps away (restaurants, pubs, shops, art venues, etc). We had a lovely time and recommend this place highly.
The apartment is in a fantastic location, nicely decorated and comfortable. It was a home away from home.
If you want to stay in the epicenter of all the action in Dublin, stay at Sarah's. We wanted to be close to everything, but little did we know that we would walk about the door onto on of the best streets in town. Sarah's place is very spacious and comfortable. And despite being in the middle of town, it isn't too loud to sleep even on a Friday night.
We very much enjoyed our stay in Sarah's flat. The flat is in a charming house of Dublin, full of light, very clear and neat, with a modern and comfortable furnishing.
The location is ideal, Temple Bar, but in a quite street, very central, next to the Castle, Trinity College, the river, and the main shopping areas. It can be reached easily by bus at any hour from the airport. In the evening, we were next to very lively streets, and... pubs! We felt cosy, appreciated the fireplace in the evening, and had a very good contact with Sarah, who answered our questions and gave us good indications. I recommend the place, where we felt at home and were able to enjoy the city at our own pace.
Sarah's flat is indeed in the city center of Dublin. We were within walking distance of great pubs, eateries, and the historic places we wanted to visit--Dublin Castle, the Guiness storehouse, the National Gallery of Art and the National Museum to name a few. Sarah's list of places to eat, drink, shop, and visit was very complete and useful. The flat is spacious and had everything we needed--especially a coffee maker. It was so much better than a hotel--in addition to hotel amenities we had a kitchen, a washer, a living room, and quiet. The street noise we sometimes heard in the evening was not noticeable in the bedroom. The flat is located in an old building so there were the occasional creaks in the floors and it is located two flights up but it worked beautifully for us.
Just perfect perfect perfect! Great host!!! Amazing location and a very nice and confortable apartment!! Just perfect!!! Recommended 110%!
Sarah and her flat were both lovely. The flat is just as it looks in the pictures, and the other reviews are right: although very central, the bedroom is quiet indeed. (There is some noise in the living room, but nothing that should upset or disturb anyone.) Recommended.
Sarah's apartment was excellent. The location was unbeatable on a quieter street across from Dublin Castle right in Temple Bar. Easy access to two of our favorite pubs - Fallons near St. Patricks and O'Donoghue's off St. Stephen's Green. The apartment was very clean. It was also warm and comfortable. The wooden floorboards were terrific and my girlfriend also enjoyed a few other architectural details of the apartment. Sarah was very nice and we enjoyed meeting her. We definitely recommend this apartment. It was excellent.
