I booked this flat for 6 nights in late-October for my parents to stay in. The flat itself is advertised as Welcoming Bright Flat and to be honest, it would take little to make it welcoming. It seems to have bric and brat old utensils that have seen better days. And unfortunately, as most old flats are, it was rather damp and smelt rather moldy. For two guests, they provided only one 1 large towel, 3 small hand towels and 2 toilet rolls for the 7 days.
On a positive note, the hosts are polite, warm and quick to respond to queries. Andrea even gave us a special price which was much appreciated. The flat came clean and has got a large living room and dining area that looks out into a green garden. You will not have access to the garden but the green is quite nice. It is also within walking distance to Piazza Navona, Campo di Fiori and Trastevere.
All in all, a well-located flat with lots of potential and perhaps by the time you stay here, it would have done just that little effort to become the Welcoming Bright Flat it promises to be.
Rome is a wonderful city from many angles and view points.
This apartment is in a very good location and is very spacious, but it has a mold/ mildew problem. It smells horrible in the bedroom and bathroom. We had to buy scented candles in order to sleep. Also, the kitchen lacked many basics such as a clean coffee maker.
Nice area:) Close to nice cafées and restaurants in Trastevere. One minute walk from the river, and ten minutes walk from the old city of Rome and Campo del Fiori. The apartment was a bit cold and moist; the problem wasnt to bad though, as there were plenty of warm blankets.
Andrea is very nice and reliable - communicates fast on both email and telephone.
Im sure you will enyou your stay in this beautiful area of Rome:)
very nice situation close to a lot of places but be careful you can't go in the garden !!! and the flat is a little bit wet
