The space
This historic old cottage has expansive decks & verandas surrounding the house.
The main living space is contained within the original building & is beautifully finished for style & comfort.
The master bedroom comes with a king-sized bed for that luxury hotel feeling. There is an ensuite shower & toilet.
Additionally, the “master bedroom” has a kitchenette. Enjoy a morning coffee admiring the peaceful water views from its secluded veranda.
Access to the “master bedroom” from the “living space” is under the full cover of a veranda roof.

Guest access
You will have full & unlimited access to the whole house & it’s garden, verandas & jetty.
Store rooms & additional rooms at the rear of the property are not accessible to guests.

Other things to note
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THERE IS NO VEHICLE ACCESS TO RAYMOND ISLAND UNTIL DECEMBER 7th. Access is for foot passengers only on a “water taxi”. The “taxi” ties up a very short walking distance from “Ferryman’s Rest”. Contact the hosts for further details.
“Ferryman’s Rest" is a very short walk from the Raymond Island Ferry & park & from there to Paynesville.
We will provide a ferry pass for vehicles upon arrival. You will need to pay for your first trip across to the “island”, after that you can use the pass for unlimited free trips on the ferry.
A large, deep water jetty berth (immediately adjacent to the front gate) is available for your use. Please try to let us know in advance if you require a jetty.
Adults bicycles are provided for your use.
