  • Sabine was very friendly and helpful and we had a lovely time staying here.
Use of the laundry was a plus as was the private lanai with garden outlook.
The location was great to go exploring down the Hana Highway ahead of the crowds.

  • We had a good time, staying at Sabines studio.
It was nice, quiet and clean.
She even brought us avocados from the garden, which was very nice.
We would recommend staying at Sabines place.
Within a view minutes you are at Paia, a lovley small village with shops and restaurants. Ton't miss to book a whale watch tour, it's a unforgettable experience!

  • This is a serene and restful jungle paradise to end your jam-packed Maui day-activities. We highly recommend this beautiful and charming abode for anyone who is an avid surfer (Ho’okipa - world famous surfing beach!), delights in hippie counter-culture (town of Paia), or seeks the adventures of the beautiful "Road to Hana"! If you are seeking calm snorkeling reefs, sun-tanning, resort-hopping, or the urban luxuries of a more tourist experience, we suggest you book on the west side of Maui. This is a spot off the beaten path. Plus, you gotta love dogs! We miss Samson and Tiva already! (BTW, Tiva loves to bid you farewell! Make sure she doesn't run after your car as you leave! She's a sweet adorable young pup. She loves armpit rubs and butt scratches!!)
Sabine is a sweet host! She checked in on us when we arrived and fixed our hot-water situation as soon as we asked. You can tell she really cares about making you feel welcome and respects your privacy.
    Absolutely wonderful! Mahalo Sabine!

  • I had a wonderful stay at the studio. The place is spotless, has everything one needs (don't forget to bring your food/ groceries), has clear instructions ...which made things easy for me.

Saba is a lovely person and so are her pets (2 dogs and a cat)! Place is very close to Hana a perfect spot to start your drive towards Hana. Closest town for gas etc. is probably Paia. This is the real Maui!!

Saba also suggested a hike that I ended up doing - which turned out quite interesting. Overall - a great experience!

  • Sabine's studio was beautiful! We used the washer and dryer during our stay which was very nice. She also let us borrow a boogie board and a beach chair.

The studio was very clean and was decorated nicely. She had all the amenities we needed. We would love to stay there again sometime.

Sabine was very nice and we enjoyed talking with her. The little dogs were fun to visit with too.

    Thank you Sabine!

  • We had a wonderful stay. The location is right off of Hana Hwy and is very close to the beach as well as the surrounding cities. Everything you need is there, coffee pot, fridge, stove, toaster, grill, etc. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Maui.

  • Sabine's whole property has a special vibe. We were lucky to chat with her for a while and really enjoyed it. The studio is much nicer than the photos! It is small but the outside is well designed as well with a private balcony that allows for frequent visits from the dogs. Geckos all over the place (to me that's a positive), gorgeous stars overhead if you get back late at night. This place is an image of Maui that I hope stays in my head for a long time. Only one turn from the Hana highway so a good base to make the drive to Hana, Twin falls, Hookipah, Paia, etc.
