Right next to Riverside State Park, the views of the George Washington Bridge and Manhattan are lovely and relaxing to help increase your positive vibrations. If you love dancing the legendary Morocco Night club is only a few short blocks away!
You will get a Private Bedroom in a lovely, comfortable Loft style apartment. The private room has a FULL (double) size bed, sleeps two persons. Desk, lamp, television and spacious closet.

There is a brand new designer comforter set with comfortable pillows. Fresh sheets & towels are always provided!
Full use of well equipped kitchen, with some basic food staples included. There are all the modern appliances like coffee maker, microwave, blender, rice maker, toaster oven, toaster and even a wine fridge.
Apartment is on the first floor of an Elevator building with brand new washing machine and dryer in the basement. The laundry room is very inexpensive otherwise there are services that will pick up your laundry and drop it off folded and clean. There are a diverse group of students and families that live in the building so you will feel very safe and welcomed to the neighborhood.
You would be located just steps away from the 1, A, B, C, & D subway trains During normal peak schedule it only takes 15-20min to Time Square, Penn Station & Port Authority where there are connections to go just about anywhere you want to go in the Tri-State area! Even the beach in summer!

Please respect the space and shut off lights and appliances when you aren't using them. If you cook please clean pots and pans immediately and dishes as well. If you break something please be ready to pay for or replace the item. Unless absolutely necessary please do not entertain in the basement next to where my room is because I work about 3 jobs and like to keep some level of privacy and comfort for you and for me. Also please with sugar on top do not smoke cigerettes in the apartment! You can go to the front of the building or go on the firescape. If you open windows please close them and lock them before you leave the house, also remember to shut off the air conditioner. Thank You in advance!
We spent 2 nights at Barbara's apartment in Harlem. It was on a surprisingly quiet street, 3 blocks from nearest subway station. Very easy to get into the central parts of NYC. The bedroom itself was clean and spacious for 2 people, and the bathroom while nothing fancy, was also spacious and sufficient for our needs. There was a small kitchen and dining area but we did not end up using either as we were out most of the time.
Barbara was super friendly and helpful, made us feel right at home. Although she lives in the downstairs room and shares the bath and kitchen with us, we only saw her during checkin. We felt like we hd the place to ourselves.
Overall, good value for your money in NYC.
Great Room in a really lovely neighbourhood. After a bit of difficulty getting into the apartment, we had a great stay. Barbara was a helpful albeit absent host and answered all our questions about the apartment. The apartment is a great set up, with the bedroom, kitchen and bathroom on the top floor separate to Barbara's living space, which makes it feel like your own space. Boyfriend and friend were there a bit, very friendly if a bit messy (a number of unwashed dishes clogged up the sink). Other than that, a great place to stay. Definitely closer to the 1 metro than the A,B,C lines.
Very good for staying close to the city.
Convenient for Subway.
Plenty of stores close by.
Very good value for the money.
The place is okay. It is a small apartment. It is near the subway station. There are places to eat. Barbara is so nice! She always tries to help! The only problem I have is that when I stay there the room door was broken, so I cannot lock it.
I am super awesome.. check me out on instagram & tweet me @thahoneyb

I love living in Harlem because there is so much flavor and diversity. I really enjoy working out by River Bank State park and also just reading and checking out the sights. I'm always working but when I'm not I really enjoy spending time with friends or just hanging out and watching movies.
If you stay with me and you like fashion, entertainment or the arts you will feel right at home and can do some major networking!
