Our island home is on Sunset Beach, NC, the southern-most beach in the state. It is a pristine, family beach with only homes and a handful of shops. The beach is flat, the water is beautiful, and our house is unique. Built in the late 40s, we completely renovated the old structure preserving the wall and ceiling knotty pine paneling. We have three bedrooms, a full kitchen, and a spacious screened-in back porch. Walk down to Bird Island Sanctuary, read memories in the Kindred Spirit mailbox in the dunes, fish in the estuary, cycle along the beach or just lie in the hammock and read a book.
The area sports numerous golf courses, restaurants, fish markets, grocery stores and shops. Calabash, NC is next door with tons of options for seafood dinner. And if you want an evening with more bright lights and glitter, Myrtle Beach is only 30 miles away.
Note: We rent Sunday to Sunday.
We put a lot of TLC into our yellow beach house for you and for us.Two of our bedrooms have two twin beds each.. The third BR has a queen sized bed. Bring your linens, beach towels and bath towels or you can rent them locally (we'll tell you how). Kitchen is fully equipped. Basic cleaning supplies are provided. No smoking, no pets, no more than six people staying in the house. No shirt, no shoes, no problem! Please leave the house broom clean when you check out on Sunday.
