  • Eric's place was great! We would stay there again in a heartbeat. It was very secure, and yet still a social and friendly atmosphere. Eric and everyone staying there were awesome. It doesn't feel like a crowded hostel, and it was never too loud at night. A great place for a short or long term stay. We needed help finding a driver to take us to Guatemala City for the month and the guys living there were a huge help in finding us someone. Thanks Eric!

  • Eric's "apartment complex" is located only a few blocks east of the center square, in reasonably safe area just off a well-used street. The rooms, which were simple and small yet clean, are managed by Ben, an amiable and helpful American,

  • Had a great time in Antigua in Eric's apartments. The price is fantastic for what you are provided and my housemates were great and welcoming. The location is good, and everything in Antigua is within walking distance. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who doesn't want the craziness of a big hostel and a private room for a cheap price. In fact, I've already sent a friend his way! Thanks Eric!

  • This is a cool place to stay, I had a room on the second floor with a double bed and good views over the roofs and mountains of Antigua. The place is just a few blocks from Parque Central. Eric and all roommates from different countries are very friendly and tell you everything you need to know to move around the city.

  • Antigua is a surprisingly expensive place. If you are on a tight budget, then I recommend you check out this place. You can enjoy the privacy of your own room and/or enjoy the company of your fellow housemates. The location is great - a leisurely 15 minute walk straight west on 4th Street brings you to the central park. Check out Earthbourne on 4th street (Antigua's answer to Whole Foods/Trader Joes) and the myriad of restaurants along the way to the park. This place can get messy with so many people living here. It's a good thing cleaners come in three times per week. BTW - the Ecofiltered potable water is great.

Hi, my name is Eric Fry and I was born and raised in a small town in Alabama USA. I now live in Antigua, Guatemala. I work as an accountant for Ilegal Mezcal. Mezcal is like tequila.. but WAY better. A fine sipping beverage. I also play a few gigs around town to pick up extra beer money and meet cool ppl. I play a mix of Country/Americana and bit of my own songs too. I also have two motorcycles that like to ride and rent out for extra scratch. Lastly, I help a friend manage his apartment.. which brings me to Airbnb!! Please let me know if you need a place to stay, or anything else for that matter. I am pretty rooted here in Antigua. Cheers, Eric
