Sen is the premier airbnb host. He was excellent in communicating expectations. He was flexible in our checkout since our flight changed. This gave us more time to spend with our family.
The exterior of the building is typical Queens. The interior is also typical NYC unrenovated walk-up. Be prepared for walls and ceilings that have cracks and way too many layers of paint, not enough outlets to plug all chargers in, low water pressure, mismatched doors and trim, and Edison era light fixtures. However, though one has vintage systems, one also get vintage spaciousness and privacy. All rooms were oversized. The "thick" walls provided great sound insulation between rooms.
We were there during a pretty hot spell in NY. There is only one air conditioner due to the old wiring. While it managed to keep the interior reasonable, it was not ideal, especially if you were formally dressed and waiting for the rest of your party to leave.
The location was great for us. We were walking distance to my daughter, Number 6 train, and lots of yummy restaurants and thirst quenching bars.
We all agree, we would stay here again and look forward to seeing Sen again.
The apartment served a purpose for the time that my parents stayed as it was only 5 blocks from my apartment. However we all felt that it was expensive for what was offered. The apartment was located on the fourth floor with no lift access so would be a disadvantage for any older couples. However Sen was helpful and available to offer advice whenever needed.
Sen was a wonderful host! He was extremely nice and helpful during the whole stay. He even helped us carry our bags in and out, and gave us directions whenever we needed. He goes above and beyond for his guests! The apartment was just as described, very clean and comfortable. It does get rather warm during the day since it is on the top floor, but it cooled off at night. All in all we had a great experience with Sen and this place.
I had a really wonderful stay in this apartment. Sen was a very helpful host and I had no necessities in anything, because everything was there in time and even during cold days I was supplied with a warm electrical blanket which was really kind.
Apartment is very clean and beautifully furnished. The house is quite and bedroom is coming out into the court which is important even though the subway is right away there.
I will gladly stay there again if I would have another chance. Thanks Sen.
Sen is absolutely great host, the apartment is clean, tidy and cozy. Subway (7) is nearby, it takes about 15 minutes to get to Manhattan. 24h open grocery store and pharmacy just 3 blocks away. I recommend it to everyone who wants to visit the big apple.
Sen was very happy to help us find our way around Sunnyside, suggesting restaurants etc. He was very obliging, letting us check in early. The apartment was clean and the bed was soft but not overly so.
Even though the subway was a short walk away the noise never bothered us, it was suprisingly quiet even with the windows open.
Our host Sen was friendly and helpful.Answered any questions we had about the building or area.

About the Host, Sen
Hello, I was formerly a philosophy and political science student with an interest in public service and policy. I currently manage a warehouse in Long Island City while I go back to school to earn an MBA in Healthcare Administration.
I coordinate with various renters in the area to share any extra space they might have to anyone that is interested in visiting, working, staying in the city, or even fellow New Yorkers that just need a place to relax while their relatives take up their own apartments.
I have had the privilege to have grown up, studied, and worked in and around New York City my entire life and thus, have intimate knowledge of this neighborhood and the Metropolitan area. I am quite fond of my hometown and would love the chance to share it with the rest of you!
