Peace and quiet

Come rest and deeply unwind at this quiet and private cabin just tucked into the woods at our retreat center. This little cabin offers the feeling of being in the forest but is just footsteps down the path on the edge of our apple
Orchard meadow. A step up from glamping with 4 wooden walls and a real queen size bed, our communal amenities will provided you with a unique experience to share some spaces with other travelers while still having a private space to sleep and relax.

The space
The Mossgrove cabin is a 2 storey space, downstairs you walk in on the porch through a sliding glass door and there is a living room with a fold out full size sofa bed if needed. There is also a large desk with a hot water tea kettle, cups and tea bags and a large vessel of drinking water. There is a small space heater and the access to the stairs to climb up to the bedroom. The bedroom has a queen size bed, 2 night stands and a small floor sitting area with a low tea table, a back jack and a low wooden bench.

Guest access
The Mossgrove cabin is a private space to you and your party of up to 3 people. The 3 outhouses are about 500 ft from the cabin as well as an outdoor hot shower unit which are shared with other guests. There is also a communal kitchenette with a space to hang out, play games and use the internet which is shared with other guests.

Other things to note
Our check in time is between 2pm-8pm to allow for our guests to be properly oriented on our land before dark. If you are coming late, please let us know so we can send you an orientation video and know that we prefer to personally meet you and show you around to support your ease and comfort.

Internet is only available in communal kitchen/ lounge, not in cabins.

Outhouse bathrooms are separate from private cabins and located 500 ft away on the trail.

Our land is centrally located between both sides of Acadia National Park, 45minutes-1 hour depending on traffic from Bar Harbor entrance and 30 minutes to Schoodic/ Winter Harbor Entrance.

Small flashlights are provided in each cabin but a headlamp or light will be necessary for navigating the trail to the cabin upon arrival.
