Thank you for the respect you have!
I landed in Rome from India for my own 'Eat Peay Love' experience..sure like each one stepping here, I connected with the place and loved every bit of it..but Rome is now home to me thanks to Maria..she's an exquisite person and has abundance of love to offer..I may have landed at her place, that too my 1st airBnB ever, as a guest but left making a friend for life..a very lovely n beautiful soul..everything Maria does- the breakfast, setting up the room or taking care of every li'l need is with absolute devotion to make your experience the most special one..Rome is way too vast and you certainly won't be able to do it all but a definite not to miss is staying Maria..love u my friend..will be back if not for Rome then perhaps for you!
Maria was a warm and hospitable host; she really made us feel as though we were home from home. Nothing was too much trouble. Her instructions about how to get to her house were clear and everything was as she said in the listing. We particularly liked the breakfasts!
Maria is a very sweet lady, but I would never stay here again, and here's why: my husband and I were in Italy for a week and missed our flight back to the U.S. Because of weather delays in Italy. Needed a last minute hotel near the airport since we were taking an early flight home the next day. Found her listing for same day booking and chose her because of her reviews and ONLY because a lot of people mentioned that she picks them up from the airport which was great since we were low on funds. Now this is where I have a problem.. I explained to her to please not accept our request if she was not able to pick us up from the airport since we were low on funds to travel to her since her place was already $55 euros. She said no problem and picked us from airport 2 hours later. When we reached her place, we realized it was an hour and a half away from the major train station that takes us to the airport AND she demanded we pay her an additional 50 euros for her giving us a ride from the airport. We never Agreed on that amount of any amount. So not only was her place inconveniently far from everything but we payed a total of $105 euros just to stay 2 hours away from the airport when we could've payed a fraction of that at a hotel near the airport. This really made for an unpleasant stay as we felt hustled by this woman who was so kind in the car, even stopped to get us allergy medicine. But now I know she was only nice because she was getting an extra $50 euros from us which is basically the same price for one night at her place, it was more expensive than if we would've took a regular taxi over there. Did not have a good experience here.
I was sorry to read these things are kept on my person
no one was forced to come to my house, when you make a reservation on airbnb is clearly visible where the house is located on the map and at the transfer airport all pay them and also this is well written on my profile that perhaps you have not read . Anyway, I hope you appreciate that I have done everything to make you feel comfortable bringing in a mall to solve the problem of the eye drops in the eyes and getting up early in the morning for breakfast before the scheduled time, which are not in no hotel.
Take note Airbnb : name Maria as an ambassador organización something for your site :) She is a noble, bright adn hippy person, her home reflect all of her personality :a beautiful place for a beautiful person, ave invite us to a Meeting, we meet people for Roger places, etc ... Plus she also never her your down on give you help yo visit Rome. Maria llena eres de gracia!!!
We had a great stay at Maria's place and we exceptionally loved the idea where she could offer airport transfers as well as the mini tour in Rome. We were introduced to hidden gems in the city which was really a plus point as you wont get to see too much tourists overcrowding in the area and I must say almost every corner in Rome is lovely!
We appreciate that Maria even prepared breakfast for us each day and it is simple and good. Her self made bread and cappucino is the best! :) It's quite a pity we didnt have ample time stay in Rome, else we will definitely join her cooking class! We'll be very glad to be staying at her place again for our next trip :D
If you're looking for a place to stay in Rome, stay here. Maria is, simply put, fantastic. Within moments of our arrival, she made us feel like we had known each other all our lives, and we were just there for a typical visit. She made us feel super welcomed, extremely comfortable with the whole apartment, and it became a home away from home.
Without being overbearing, Maria was also very helpful in guiding us on how we ought to spend our time most wisely day to day - what we ought to see, where we should eat, how we should get to/from, etc. She also made it a true B&B experience! Each morning we would wake up, go out on the balcony and start the day off with an incredible breakfast (honestly, the breakfast was so good).
But, overall, Maria is far more than a host you may find at any ordinary hotel or something - or even a fancy one for that matter. She's like how one may be if their very best friend was visiting from out of town for a few days - constantly looking out for their best, making sure their comfortable, taking responsibility for things to make their stay just a little smoother. She was awesome.
Oh, and if you have the chance to do her homemade pasta dinner, I highly recommend it.
As far as the amenities go, the room was very comfortable and very clean. As was the bathroom.
Maria was a very sweet and generous host. She offered me breakfast and dinner both days and gave me a ride into Rome. Staying at Maria's felt like being at home because of her personality and warmth. Her apartment is a 10 minute bus ride and a 10 minute metro ride into Rome. I would definitely stay with her again!

About the Host, Maria Grazia
I am a woman manager, Apulian origin, but Roman by adoption, arrived in Rome 15 years ago. I love this city and I would not change it for the world, perhaps the best I know of many Romans were born here.
Among the many things I do, are also sommeliers, are a great cook and also the fantastic produce oil of my country of origin, puglia, you could buy, if you wish, tasting it first of course
My curiosity led me here. I believe that the exchange of different cultures helps us to grow and improve even if another language then so be it.
I really like traveling, opens our minds and horizons.
