  • We escaped to mullumbimbi in search for a home away from home. We were so lucky to find peter and ana. On arrival their home was kitted out with local goodies and a beautiful house and garden. The house was spacious and we felt that the place was like our second home. The house is surrounded by luscious greenery and mountains. Peter and Ana welcomed us into their beautiful home and were wonderful guides in providing us ideas of where to visit and most importantly where to eat. All in all a perfect escape for those seeking a bit of country living.

  • I booked 3 different places via Airbnb for my holiday and, like Three Bears, Peter's home was 'just right'! Actually, any expectations we had were blown out the window!

Not only did our host come out to the property to meet us, he spent time showing us around and explaining various things in the home, and also nice places to visit and explore. Lovely fresh, organic provisions were supplied for us to enjoy and nothing seemed a problem for our host. Peter is a lovely person, clearly passionate about his home and the labour of love it has taken for him to transform an ageing property into something magical.

A lot of time was spent relaxing on the daybed and the swing seat, watching the myriad of birds at work and play. We were also favoured with a hot air balloon flying overhead early one morning!

You can feel the positive energy within and around the property. I only hope I can take some more leave and return soon!

  • We felt so welcomed from the minute we arrived. The property is spacious, clean with lots of natural light. We also spent a lot of time outside lounging on the day bed taking in the tranquil setting of the trees and enjoying the bird life. Peter and Ana are delightful hosts and they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. I plan to return in the future.

  • We really enjoyed our stay at Peter's house in Mullumbimby! The house is modern, large and spacious, with very comfortable living areas, bedrooms, and a good sized kitchen, well stocked for cooking. The house is surrounded by a large, open garden, which is very peaceful and beautiful. If you're looking for a country escape that's close to all the Byron attractions, I'd definitely recommend Peter's property. He's a really friendly guy too!

  • The moment I found Peter's Country Living in Mullumbimby, I was met with a swift response. From then on each step to get over to Peter's place was seamless, he is honest in his description of his home. It is a joy to be in a clean comfy home full of lovely things, not clutter, but quality from the kitchen through to the bedrooms & bathroom.
Peter welcomed us with his partner Ana, with waves of helpfulness and even coconut water amongst a fridge full of essentials which was gratefully received after a flight from hell from the UK to Australia. Thoughtful & mindful of our need to rest, we felt cared for and held. It was my 50th birth day, & both Peter & Ana made sure the transition from our jet lag (& year older!) was made easier in every way.
Peter and Ana are more than 100% good hosts, in every single way they go beyond human to make everything special.
We consider them part of our Aussie family & hope that the crowds keep a little space for us to come back and stay again next year.
Thank you so very much from us all, & if you ever would like to stay with us if you visit Glastonbury, you are very warmly welcome.
With the deepest respect & love, Tara, Mark, Jack, Benjamin & our family in Australia who visited us at your home.

  • Peter is the consummate airbnb host, who really loves hosting travelers in his spacious property. He will make you feel welcome from the moment you enter his driveway.

In regards to the property, it is large and spacious set on ~1 acre. It is also surrounded by vegetation which ensures privacy. The house is also spacious and very clean with everything that you would need and expect.

I am happy to recommend Peter to airbnb community.

  • Peter and Ana's home was a fabulous place for my husband and I to stay at recently. We felt calm and at ease as soon as we arrived. With beautiful and tranquil surroundings, their home was spacious, quiet, completely private and everything we could possibly have needed was to hand. The fridge was stocked with an abundance of thoughtfully-provided basics and goodies - all organic and of the highest quality. Lemon myrtle soap and chocolates were placed in the bedrooms. Their home was spotlessly clean and everything was neat, well-organised and clutter-free. Communication was thorough and most helpful, not only in directions but in ensuring that everything was okay. We would love to return and couldn't recommend Peter and Ana highly enough as hosts. Superb!

  • We stayed in Peters house in Mullumbimby for three nights to relax and recover from our travels on the east coast. It was just perfect, an awesome airbnb experience! The place is even nicer than it looks on the pictures!! Peter is a very good and nice host who explains you everything in the house and give you ideas what to do in the area. We loved to stay in that nice house with the huge garden - a little paradise. If I come back to Mullumbimby once - I'll definitely stay at Peters house!

  • In a word, superb. We were so thrilled to discover Peter's beautiful home in Mullumbimby. We booked for 3 days and enjoyed our stay very much. The house was spotless and fully equipped with everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable with lovely linen and we slept soundly each night in the quiet country environment.
The property is absolutely gorgeous with fruit trees, flowers, and abundant local wildlife. There's a great day bed for those like us who love to chill in the afternoon and listen to the birds sing.
Peter graciously provided breakfast food (everything organic and local) and a selection of awesome coffee and teas, which meant we didn't have to go to the store until the next day. He was also generous with his time and showed us everything we needed to know about the house to feel like home. He also drew a local map with local places to visit (e.g., Minyon Falls), dine (Izakaya Yu) and shop (the local Farmers' Market), each of which we did and enjoyed very much.
We had a wonderful stay at Peter's home and have no hesitation recommending this dream house to anyone visiting Byron Bay or Mullumbimby.

  • Fabulous house and hosts. Peter was patient and welcoming when our arrival was delayed. Prompt and clear in all communication. Full of good advice on what to do with the area. The place itself was airy, calm, clean and the land was beautiful, as were the nearby beaches. We made ourselves right and home and would recommend it to anyone.
