  • Very nice stay at Matteo's place, which is located in a quiet but easily accessible part of Tokyo. Matteo takes good care of his guests and I would advise him as an host!

  • Matteo is a very nice guy and great host.
The place is very good. Bigger then standard Tokyo's size, with two rooms and a very nice terrace. The place is close to Kasuga subway station and wolking distance to the Tokyo Dome. Many convenient stores are around the apartment. We enjoyed our stay there.

  • My family and I were enjoyed our stay at Matteo's place a lot. He"s a very nice host. His room is fully equipped. And there's also high speed wifi there so its really make me felt like home. It's pretty convenience to go around in Tokyo there. I was a great holiday for us. We looking forward for our next stay at his place again!

  • Matteo is a nice guy and a very friendly host. The place is basically a 4-story walkup that consists of three very small rooms. The first room has a madras on the floor and nothing else. The second room has a madras on the floor and nothing else. The third room has a gasstove, a very small table and two small chairs. The bathroom has a sort of plastic tub you step into to take a shower. My recommendation to Matteo would be to drop his price to get a better balance between what is offered and what is paid. I think this would lead to more satisfied customers. The location of the apartment is fine –– 5 minute walk to the subway and shopping close by.

    Response from Matteo:

From the Soren's description it seems that I used fake photos. What I can honestly say is that what you see in the picture, is exactly what you can find in reality: a small and cozy Japanese style apartment. The Japanese traditional house is extremely flexible in the use of space. To keep this quality, it need to be furnished with movable elements so you can modify the space according to the required function. My 2 rooms can be used during the day as living rooms: using pillows, carpets, small tables and short chairs. The futon can be folded and used as sofa, then during the nightime it becomes bed and the furniture is moved away to make the space more free and open. The western standards are obviously different. I hope that the perspective guests will appreciate this quality of the Japanese style apartment.

  • It's a bit out of the way but we chose this location because we had tickets to see the Tokyo Giants play ball at the Tokyo Dome and wanted to be within walking distance of the game. We also needed two bedrooms since we were travelling with our kids; we had plenty of space. The apartment is near a market, coffee shops, and restaurants. It was also next to a small park; we had cherry blossoms right outside our window - a real treat. The apartment is older and therefore has some character. Matteo was a terrific host; he left us with everything we needed and answered all of our questions.
