I feel very welcome to Ching May's place. Juan picked me up from the ferry dock and helped me to go to their apartment. The family is very friendly and helpful. Thank you for making my stay safe and fun.
My choice was right. Chingmay's place was very cozy and I had a very relaxed time. The place is 5-minute walk from the ferry pier and near to the main street, too. It was so convenient even though you had to go through some stairs. The room is clean and quiet. Chingmay and her family were very nice to me, and her helper was also kind. I miss her cute daughter and lovely cat!
Staying at Chingmay's place was a very pleasant experience. Only a 5 minute walk from the ferry it is easy to reach. The stairs up to the house were easy doable after a day or 2. The house was very clean. The bedroom is small, but convenient and the bathroom a good one. Chingmay, her husband and helper were very friendly and helpful. For me worth a good recommendation!
I spent three days alone in Lamma coming back home from a working travel in the Philippines.
Chingmay is a very nice host and an interesting person, as well as Juan the husband and the little Emma. They all speak fluently several languages, which is amazing.
They have been very friendly, and I spent a good time in Lamma.
The apartment is very nice, big, peaceful and calme (the wonderful painting done by her father helps to), the room is good, the bed new and confortable, I slept really well !
The location is very convenient, some stairs go to the house from the main street and they helped me with my heavy luggage (I was coming from elsewhere).
A very good place to stay, hope to come again in the futur with my husband !!
About the Host, Chingmay
After having lived as a modern nomad in three continents: Asia, North America and Europe, I decided to settle down in my birthplace Hong Kong in the summer of 2008. I have since devoted to the promotion of Tao Painting and the idea that artworks should be owned by any individual; therefore, I sell affordable fine art prints in all sizes of all Tao paintings by JD Chou so that his admirers can own at least one of his artworks. JD Chou's Tao Painting is a visual presentation of Tao Te Ching (Taoism/Daosim philosophy written by Lao Zi). He blends perfectly the essences of the Tao philosophy in his creations. Each piece is a beauty wrapped by harmony and the nourishing balance of Yin and Yang. To see JD Chou's evocative Tao paintings, please visit (website hidden)
My life path number is 9 and everything and I am 100% what is said about this number.
As for passions in life, I have many. I love to read biographies, learn to play musical instruments such as piano and Er-Hu, dance tango, learn different cultures, perfect the languages I know (Chinese, English, French and Spanish), meeting people from all walks of society, take care of people within my abilities and last but not the least, spending time with my beloved ones like my daugther.
My life motto is from a German saying "true bliss is absolute concentration".
I have a blog and will start to be very active writing it this year because writing is also one of my favorite pastimes.
