Interaction with Guests
This is part of our holiday home, and we often come and go travelling constantly. If we are unable to host you during your stay one of our family will be there to take great care of you.
Muri is one of the most popular destinations in the Cook Islands. It is centrally located to almost everything in Rarotonga, and offers a wide variety of activities and tourist attractions, as well as restaurants and cafes.
The public bus travels around the island on the hour between 8am - 11pm Monday to Friday, and every 30 minutes on the weekends. It is easily accessible - to catch it just wave it down on the side of the road and it will stop!
There are a number of car and bike hire places in Muri. Both are located right next door, and are a 2 minute walk from the apartment.

Sian was very understanding when we were late in arriving & had no way of communication- she was waiting patiently for us when we got to the house with a warm welcome.
The little unit was perfect for our stay & we thank Sian so much for having us!
Sian was very accommodating and welcoming throughout our stay and and during our booking - as there were a few changes that never seemed a problem. She was also easily contactable and helped answer all of our questions promptly. The accommodation has everything you need and is in a lovely spot on the island. My friend and I recommend this stay to anyone who's on a budget, is after a good off beach location and is after simple and easy accommodation. Thanks again for a great stay!
Sian was was very polite & helpful. The accommodation was as described, but we were disappointed in the broken kitchen chair rendering unuseful. Also the bedside lamp didn't work (wall switch broken) so I couldn't read in bed, and the lamp in the living room had no light bulb. The sheets & towels are all stained and not inviting to use. A curtain panel in the kitchen window should be there as running around in my undies, the neighbours next door could see through & they are outside much of the time. The mask & snorkel provided were not in good working order so her Aunt loaned us a set. The rate is good, but it does need a few things that would make the experience better and double checking for broken items etc. Needs some TLC

A beautiful, quiet and peaceful spot in a great area with a wonderful host. Close to restaurants, small grocery store, beautiful beaches, transportation, etc. Would happily have stayed much longer and hope to comeback for another longer term stay soon.
We absolutely loved our stay and found Miri beach to be the perfect location on Rarotonga ! Sian was very helpful and the place was cosy and clean! We would defiantly stay again should we be so lucky!
I went to stay at Sian's studio in November 2014 for nine days. The accommodation was exactly what I wanted and precisely as described in the detail on-line. There is a kitchen/sitting/dining area and a bedroom with a bathroom at the rear. The studio is compact, extremely comfortable and nicely decorated. It is set back from the road so there is little if any traffic noise.
The location is in Muri, which is on the eastern side of the island of Rarotonga, next to the Bakery (LBV) which serves excellent coffee and breakfast and is just off the main road to the south of the community. The unit is also quite near the Night Market which is open Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursday and Sundays where locals serve delicious home-cooked food. There are also a decent number of good restaurants nearby. Muri is on the lagoon and has one of the best beaches on the island, only a few minutes walk away.
The unit is a wifi hotspot and once I had purchased my data package from CI Telecom I was up and running.
I met Sian on my last day. She is a delightful lady who was most gracious in letting me stay on a little longer that the normal checkout as my flight was not until later that day. I was very impressed that she comes to meet those staying in her studio as it indicates a good deal of care. If I return (and I hope I do) I would love to stay at the studio again.
Our instructions for arrival were very easy to follow, considering Raro has no street addresses. The room was comfortable and adequate for our needs, close to everything at Muri. The decking was a lovely spot for breakfast. We met Tracy into our stay as Sian was away.
I'm sociable, friendly, and easy going. I love to travel, and on the weekends like to relax with maybe a nice glass of wine, good food and great company. Asia is my favorite destination and Thai food would be my first choice for a meal. Raised in NZ I'm also from the Cook Islands where I call home.
