Welcome to Marin House! Upscale, well-appointed designer cottage in Riverland Terrance, one of Charleston's most coveted neighborhoods. 4 mi to downtown, 8 mi to Folly Beach. Ground level 1BR private guesthouse with a queen bed, perfect for couples desiring a quiet retreat. Steps from the intracoastal waterway and breathtaking sunsets. Miles of beautiful streets under the oaks. Short walk to boat landing, restaurants, coffee shops, cinemas, bars, music, yoga, barre, playground and more!
The space
Marin House is thoughtfully designed by the hosts to offer a boutique experience in a private and peaceful setting. The cottage is located on the back side of the hosts property, surrounded by lush landscape and a private keyless entrance. As designers, we are hosts dedicated to excellence in clean, beautifully designed spaces and welcoming Southern hospitality. You'll enjoy the breezy, relaxed, coastal-inspired aesthetic featuring a gas lantern, vaulted ceilings, shiplap walls and bright natural light. Easy pull-down light-filtering shades on all windows for privacy. We live and work on the property, and take pride in offering our guests a warm and inviting experience during their stay. Our property and neighborhood are very family-friendly, and you may occasionally see us outside with our two boys. We enjoy meeting our guests and also provide them with the utmost privacy, however if you need anything at all during your stay we are there to assist. You'll feel right at home!
