After an eventful history and extensive restoration, the castle is a refuge with the inimitable charm of historic buildings and the luxury of modern design. The castle is located above a wide landscape in the middle of a 500 hectare wildlife park.
The heart is the glass-covered courtyard with a three-story Renaissance gallery. The castle hall, the prince's rooms and the Gaudeamus hut are stylish rooms that radiate tranquility and allow a wide view over nature.

The space
The nine to eleven double rooms in the main building skillfully combine historical and modern elements, each room is individually designed and offers its own charm. Historical elements and modern accents await you. The view of the untouched nature is unique. From all sides you can see the wildlife park, a lake and a riding facility. The charming outbuilding is directly adjacent to the lake and is a place with a cozy atmosphere with its newly renovated and lovingly designed guest rooms as well as a cozy hunting lodge and small kitchen. Historical murals await you in our Fürstenzimmern, which can be used as lounges for conferences or as a dining room.

Guest access
The castle is booked exclusively by one customer. There are no double bookings. You are a private guest at Duttenstein Castle. All areas are available for your exclusive use. You are allowed to stay on the entire castle grounds and in the wildlife park. Only our company buildings, game room, garages and storage rooms, as well as offices are not to be entered. These are marked with signs.

Other things to note
Dogs are generally welcome guests at Schloss Duttenstein. However, due to historical wooden floors, dogs are only allowed to stay overnight in the ground floor rooms in the hunter's house. Dogs are welcome in the castle hall and all areas with stone floors.

As an event location, we are happy to be open to inquiries of all kinds - birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, company events - and look forward to planning your event together with you.

Please note that the access to the castle leads through the wildlife park and a speed limit of 30 km/h must be observed here. The wildlife park is only accessible to our booking guests by car. The park can only be used publicly for walking. The castle grounds are exclusively accessible to booking guests.
Parking is only allowed below the castle. For loading and unloading, you may drive up the steep mountain to the castle entrance or to the elevator at the rear entrance. The vehicle must then be parked again below the castle.

Access to the gates in the wildlife park and to the entrances is via an access code assigned to you personally, which will be communicated to you after booking.

The adjacent lake may be used for swimming.

The house staff is there for you during breakfast hours.

All desired services, as well as desired intermediate cleaning, must be registered before arrival, so that the appropriate staff are available.
