About This Listing
Family home to rent while the owner is away. This is a lived in house and very comfortable.
Beautiful two bedroomed fully equipped family home for rent for a short period in july. It has two double beds but an extra mattress and/or pull out bed can be set up if needs be. Situated in Rialto, Dublin close to every amenity in Dublin. . The owner is going on holidays and wishes to rent their home while they are away. The house is 10 mins by tram to the city centre. 35 mins by car to the sea or the mountains.
Near to shops, trams and buses. Only 10 minutes walk from a Modern Art Gallery, the historic Kilmainham Jail, the Guinnesses Brewery and the Phoenix Park.
If you want to get a sense of an inner city working class neighbourhood in Dublin, near the Canal you will enjoy Rialto. It is like a village in the city with a coffee shop and two pubs. Not too far away there is a very good italian restaurant (Inchicore) and Dublin city has everything a visitor needs.
Guests will have the house and garden to themselves while the owner is away
Interaction with Guests
As I am away, my brother Joe will be the host. He will meet you at the beginning of your stay and is around when needed
I love Rialto for its diversity. It is a bustling inner city village with decent shops, a cafe. Its near to bus, tram and Dublin bikes and also to kilmainham jail, modern art museum, the canal and parks. Only 10-15 mins by tram into the city centre and 30 mins walking
5 mins to bus, tram and Dublin bikes
The house is a family home and is a terrace house with quiet neighbours. For that reason it would be expected that guests respect that they are living next door to my neighbours (who I get on very well with!) in terms of noise late at night etc.. - though the atmosphere is very relaxed. There is no smoking inside the house but people smoke in the garden (this is common in Ireland). .
Alles was we nodig hadden, was aanwezig. Tuin is prettig, we konden ook lekker buiten zitten.
This was a brilliant place for our family, four daughters, baby and couple, to stay for three nights. Close to several sights and the tram, we could explore easily and also cook and cater when needing to. It is reasonable enough to make up for the extra public transport costs incurred by being out of the center of town. Lovely friendly hosting by Joe. Thank you for your hospitality.
Roisin has a wonderful 2-story (plus a sweet attic loft bedroom!!) home in Dublin. She and her brother were really helpful and communicative throughout our stay, and Roisin was very fast to reply to any questions we sent her before our trip. The house is beautiful, close to public transit and the Luas (the train line into central Dublin and its environs), and Roisin even left us some food and city information for our stay! Seriously, stay here! A+++
Roisin and her brother Joe were excellent hosts. I had dealt with Roisin for the correspondence and booking of her home, and she was very kind and helpful and made the whole process very simple. Joe met us at the house and gave us a tour of the lovely home, as well as the nearby town, and left us with a few maps and suggestions as to what to do during our stay. He is by far one of the friendliest and sincerest people I've ever met. The home is ideally located, clean and spacious. We were lucky to have had such good people welcoming us. Make all efforts to book this for your stay in Dublin!
Absolutely nothing to complain about! Roisins likeable brother Joe welcomed and prepared us with all kind of information and we directly felt comfortable in the cosy house. Good connection by LUAS to go to the city and after a long day walking around Dublin it was great to come back to relax in the living room with some irish music and a cider :)
Roisins Haus war sehr gemütlich und angenehm zu bewohnen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Auch die Nähe und Anbindung zur Innenstadt waren prima. Von daher empfehle ich es auf jeden Fall weiter!
Fabulous! Upon arrival at Roisin's home, we were greeted by her brother Joe, as Roisin was on holiday. Joe immediately made us feel at home with his warm hospitality, conversation and wit. Joe offered us beverages, gave us a tour of the home, offered suggestions of where to go, gave us his email and phone number for contact in case we were in need of anything. It was a pleasure to meet such a kind man! A wonderful first impression for our stay in Dublin!
Roisin's directions to her home were spot on. Perfect directions were very much appreciated, as we were traveling to multiple destinations in Europe for the first time and managed to get confused more than a few times ; ) We truly felt safe and comfortable our entire stay. Great kitchen to prepare meals. Great butcher a short walk away to purchase just about everything you would need for a meal. Great comfortable beds. Great art, photos, music, etc. The location to catch the Luas public transit was very convenient. We would highly recommend staying at Roisin's home. If we were to return to Dublin again, we would happily return to stay...would be wonderful to meet Roisin and revisit her kind brother Joe! Thank you for allowing us the use of your cozy home : )
