Large furnished Room in Two bedroom Loft available in Doorman elevator building

I have an amazing furnished SUPER SIZED bedroom for rent in a 2 bedroom loft, only minutes from the Brooklyn & Manhattan bridges, Financial District, China Town & Little Italy and only 4 blocks to the subway.

The bedroom is in a Huge 1400 Square Foot 2 bedroom High End Loft Building.
Each bedroom are on the opposite side of the loft so you will have privacy, the room isn't a shoe box like others either, it has a full size bed, night stand, dresser and a chair with plenty of room to spare. The room also has two large closets and 3 large windows and is only minutes to lower Manhattan. The room comes with a full size bed, plus i could bring in a fold out chair bed if needed

Here are some things you should know before considering The apartment is cleaned once a week and is rodent and critter FREE, I would like it to stay that way and I’m sure anyone renting could appreciate that so I would expect a pretty CLEAN renter (NO cigarette smokers please)

The Neighborhood

A little info: Building is Landmarked and located right outside the Brooklyn Navy Yard and Steiner Movie Studios. In the building is CKO Fitness, Body By Brooklyn wet lounge and spa, Fresh Fanatic organic market, Mojito restaurant, stunning roof deck with a Manhattan view that will knock your socks off, laundry, storage, underground parking garage and more. Right next door is Grapeshot, Brooklyn Roasting Company and Mast Brothers Chocolate are right on the corner too! Stunning Brooklyn Bridge Park is only a 5 minute bike ride away and we're right on the NY Greenway bike path that takes you to all 3 bridges. Fort Greene Park is very short walk and has jogging path, tennis courts, historic visitors center, free music festivals and a farmers market every Saturday all year round. Oh and the restaurants??? I can never ever decide where to (email hidden)ey are all awesome and there are so many places to choose from.

Commute to Manhattan? Walk to G or C trains....choose one of the 23 Citibikes parked right outside, 4 different buses take you to the subway for FREE and all buses are on NYC Bus Checker so you can see EXACTLY when they will arrive at every stop! B57, B62, B54 to A,C and F trains. B38 will also take you to Atlantic Terminal for all trains and LIRR which I use to hit Long Beach all summer long. It is pure heaven here.

  • Barely got to meet Rod. Place was as advertised though ~ 10 min walk to closest subway & grocery store in building was convenient

  • Very cool place, extremely spacious and private room. Big kitchen with everything you need for cooking and your own fridge. Awesome rooftop and laundry in the basement. Just outside a big grocery store with fresh food. A few blocks away you can find lots of restaurants and bars. 10-15 min to subway, can't really recommend to use the bus since it's always late. For me it was not well situated because I needed to go to 41st street which took me 45-60 min. But that's just for me. Kate and Rod were very nice and helpful, had a good experience and would recommend the place for others (also as a couple). Thank you for having me

  • I had a nice stay in Rod's apartment. It is very clean and the room is big with a very comfortable bed.
Everything is pretty much as described, so you can be sure that everything works out.
There is a fridge for you, so you can keeo your stuff there and you can use a very clean bathroom as well.
The area ist great and the next subway station is not too far. You have your own set of keys, so you can come and go whenever you want to.
The only thing I am sad about is that I couldn't spent more time with the dog ;)

  • I actually lived in this building from (phone number hidden). If you want the NYC loft experience than this is the perfect option and a good price. Clean and exactly as described/photos. My only regret is that I wanted to play with the adorably sweet puppy doggy but my schedule was too busy ;-)

  • Kate/Rod are great guys. Cool and discreet. I really felt like home. I definitely recommend their apartment (being exactly as it advertised). And Turbo is the most adorable dog out there. See you again guys...

  • The room is really great, I especially loved the perfect wooden floor that is in the whole flat. It is very clean, the bathroom is somewhat basic but everything works well, towels are provided. The room has two large wardrobes to use and there is enough space to put things. It is room located in the first floor and has windows facing two sides, one of them faces the yard, the other one faces the express way, so it is not particularly quiet. Rod's little dog is extremely well mannered and never crosses the door sill and does not bark but loves to get some attention.
Rod is very helpful, and gave us great recommendations for bars, but does not seek communication, though he was in most of the time. Next time I come to New York, I would book it again.

  • I stayed at Rod's place for about a week with a friend over New Year's Eve. It is located in the Clinton Hill area of Brooklyn. The area is not particularly nice but it doesn't take you very long to get to the really nice places Brooklyn has to offer. There is a bus stop right in front of the door that takes you to Williamsburg, for example.

If you want to go to Manhattan you can take the Green line and switch to the Blue line. The train station is a 5 to 10 minute walk away which can be a little inconvenient but it is not too bad.

The place is really spacious and clean. Rod likes to keep his place organized and neat. We left relatively early and came home quite late sometimes but this wasn't a problem. It was very cool that Rod didn't raise his prices over the holidays like most others did. I doubt you can find a better spot for this price in New York City.

  • Everything was as advertised. Lots of space, comfortable, clean, friendly. Turbo is a great dog. We didn't see much of Rod, as we were in only to sleep, leaving early and coming home late. Very convenient for our purposes! Thanks, Rod.
