Patricia was a wonderful host. She met us at the apartment upon arrival and even helped us up the stairs with our large suit cases. The apartment is just as it is pictured warm, inviting and comfortable. There is plenty of storage space to unpack your belongings and not feel cramped.
The Born neighborhood is a wonderful location. Going out and exploring the streets from here to Gotic is one exciting neighborhood after another. Plenty of shops, restaurants and local flare. Even though there is a lot going on well into the evening when you close the doors and windows you have peace and quiet Whether it is the beach, shopping or to the centre of Placa de Catalunya it is a comfortable walk and perfect location.
Very nice apartment in a beautiful part of the city. We were here for a business trip so we did not spend much time in the apartment but I would book this apartment again if going back to Barcelona.
Patricia and her brother Javier was very kind and service minded and helped us both with restaurants, sightseeing and more!
The apartment in this wonderful city has everything
The best position , plenty of room , a rooftop , proximity to restaurants & shopping
The host was a delight – always helpful with tips on specific shopping wants & directions.next time we will stay here again
I had a lovely stay in Patricia's apartment. She was waiting to meet me when I arrived. There had been a problem with the kitchen light, so she arranged for me to stay in another apartment in the same building for the first night (a Sunday). She got an electrician to come the next morning, and I was in the apartment before lunchtime.
As it's on the 4th floor, it's light for a Born apartment (the streets are very narrow). It feels homely - although it is a rental apartment, it's properly furnished and decorated as if someone lived there.
Plenty of storage space, a cute little kitchen and nicely done bathroom with a tiny bath.
Patricia had brought me fresh fruit and bottles of water.
The bed was comfy, as were the sofas.
There was even access to a roof terrace, which must be very nice in the summer.
There was very little noise from the street or other apartments, I slept well with no disturbances.
Patricia recommended several local restaurants, and I can definitely advise going to Llamber on the Placa Comercial.
All in all, a good experience, with a very friendly and helpful host. Thanks!
Une très bonne expérience avec Patricia, son appartement est charmant et situé dans un quartier à aller découvrir, proche du musée Picasso et de la plage!
We had such a great time in patricia's flat, perfect for a couple and really well located. Also the carpark is really secure.
Patricia is a lovely person, she gave us lots of advices and is very flexible regarding our needs.
We would recommend her flat for any couple/family who wants to spend time in Barcelona. (maybe not for old people because no elevator)
thnk you again to Patricia
This was an excellent, comfortable stay in what is (in my opinion) the nicest part of Barcelona. I'd say the apartment is about 90% modernized: new thermal and sound-proof windows, tiled floor, modern bathroom, great fridge, gas stove and on-demand water heater. Nice dishes and towels, plenty of extra bedding. The plumbing in the kitchen hasn't been updated, nor has the building itself. The exterior door, and very narrow staircase are weathered a bit, but hey, it's Europe! Once inside the apartment you have a quiet and clean, neat and comfortable refuge. Very quiet and great for sleeping. There is a roof terrace which might be nice in the summer, but we didn't use it. The view is OK, but it's not plush and modern as a sitting area. Patricia's place met all of my requirements: quiet (very important to me!), clean, neat, modern bathroom and reasonably modern kitchen, fairly well-equipped equipped overall, safe and very central. I highly recommend it!
And Patricia is great! Friendly, accommodating and a great conversationalist. We took her and her partner, Jorge, to dinner one evening and had a great time.
I had a an ejoyable stay in Patricia's apartment. The apartment is located very central and in one of the nicest areas of Barcelona. It was a bit cold as I was staying there in November but Patricia made sure there was an electrical heater. She did a lot of effort to keep me updated before I arrived. I would def stay with her again!
Very nice apartment in the best area of Barcelona.
Patricia is very responsive and easy to deal with.
Patricia was great host, meeting us off an early morning flight and allowing us to stay all day on our day of departure as we had a late evening flight. The apartment was perfect for my husband, me and our 13 year old son for our three day weekend. The apartment was clean and warm with a comfortable bed and a decent shower. It is perfectly situated in El Born, two minutes to the Picasso museum and easy walking to the Barri Gotic, Barceloneta, and Las Ramblas. We loved El Born with its mysterious, romantic alleyways and hidden shops and restaurants. We took the Metro (subway) everywhere and the apartment is 7 minutes from Jaume stop. We did not eat any meals in the apartment but did use the fridge for wine and fruit. There is a fantastic mercato across the street where you can pick prepared food from 8-10 different vendors and eat in a central seating area - really delicious and varied food. Other guests have already commented on the 65 narrow steps up to the apartment but we travel very light so it didn't bother us at all. Except for one night I had to go back out to the mercato to borrow a corkscrew! We would stay there again in a heartbeat and will recommend it to friends. Thanks Patricia!
