Had a two month stay here, and it was incredible. Carlos has an amazing house where breakfast is made everyday. This was one of my best stays with AirBnB, and I hope to make it back to Cusco someday!

We loved our stay with Carlos. He is an awesome host. As soon as we arrived, we sat down to tea and conversation to get us acclimated to the area. The house has a charming covered "deck" area where we enjoyed evening tea and listened to the rain and later the birds! Loved that space. Our rooms were comfortable with heavy warm bedding, which we needed! We had a really nice breakfast of coffee, bread, fruit, yogurt, granola. Perfect stay all around. Carlos is a charming and helpful host. We enjoyed talking with him and appreciated all the recommendations. He arranged for an amazing cab driver, Percy, for a couple of outings. We so much appreciated the above-and-beyond efforts Carlos made on our behalf. I highly recommend this stay! You won't be disappointed. Oh, and by the way, Cusco is a charming historic town.

Carlos is a wonderful host. Immediately upon arrival, he reviewed the city map to recommend the best spots to eat and sights that should not be missed. His home is located right next to the police station and a 5 minute walk to nightlife. Carlos went out of his way to offer city tours with pick-up right outside his home as well as arrange airport transfer service for our group of 9. The whole process was seamless. We all had a wonderful experience staying with Carlos and Jackie.

I couldn't recommend staying with Carlos anymore! He helped us out with everything and was super nice. Would stay with him over any hotel regardless of cost.

We met Jackie first when we were passing through Cusco for 8 hours. She is attentive, kind and sweet. She was gracious enough to let us leave our luggage at her home and she arranged a taxi driver/guide named Percy to take us to Sacayhuaman and the other three famous ruins in the area. Percy was brilliant, giving us lots of history and background. We returned a few days later to sleep at Carlos and Jackie's place, and then done last time, four days after that. So, it was our Cusco base. The house is beautiful, like a movie set! It has high ceilings, artwork and a spectacular carved staircase. The bedrooms themselves are adequate. There are no space heaters, but lots of warm blankets and we were cozy warm. There are two hall bathrooms to share, which is nice if one is occupied. Even being a couple blocks from the Plaza, the house is perfectly quiet at night. Jackie and Carlos put out a Continental breakfast in the morning and are around to chat. They are very helpful with excellent suggestions for things to do and see in and around Cusco. They will arrange taxi pick-up for you at the airport. TIP: There is a restaurant called "The Point" - you can look it up on TripAdvisor. It's literally about a block from Carlos and Jackie's place, on Saphi Street, in the direction of the Plaza de Armas. It's by far the best restaurant we ate in during our 11-day stay in Peru. Excellent cuisine and very reasonable prices! Just walk down the street towards the Plaza, and it's on the same side of the street. Also, there's a bakery a couple doors up the other direction, also on the same side of the street. Open until 8:00 PM. Excellent pastries. So, enjoy your stay in Cusco and do consider staying at Jackie and Carlos' house. You will enjoy it as much as we did. Cusco is a lovely city, walkable and fun. It has a young, international vibe. Carlos and Jackie's lovely home is a perfect base for anybody wanting to explore the city from a central location.

Highly recommended! Wonderful accommodations, absolutely delightful host, great location, and fair price. Accommodations - clean, wool bedding, hot showers, breakfast includes bread, cheese, fruit, jams, coffee, etc. I love the shared area with plenty of books, plants, and natural lighting. Great location - few minute walk from Plaza de Armas and many museums and restaurant. It's near a police station, so very safe. Host - Jackie's delightful and gave me an overview of the area. She's quick to respond, arranged my taxis and laundry, and we had a lovely chat during breakfast. Thanks again Jackie, hope to visit again next time!

Jackie runs a superb homestay in the heart of Cusco. The place is spectacular, far more grand than the pictures show. Cozy, relaxed, and great for families and backpackers alike. Best part about our stay was how accommodating the host, Jackie, was. We ended up arriving pretty late at night and Jackie was helpful getting us to the apartment, then when we were leaving early in the morning, Jackie arranged early morning transportation to the bus station and woke up before 6AM with us to offer us a nice breakfast. Would recommend to any of my friends!
