Lili and Bill go above and beyond! The Dancing Tree guest house is cute, cozy and the perfect place to spend a weekend getaway. The suite was clean, well kept and really felt like we were at a home away from home. Lili and Bill made the stay so personal and when out of their way to make our stay special. I would recommend them as a host to anyone. Best trip so far!
Bill and Lili were generous and friendly hosts. They made us feel welcome by stocking the fridge in the suite with milk, bread, jam and cereal (and other treats), which was very helpful for us, and they made a safe storage place for our bicycles in their garage. The suite was comfortable and spacious, and the kitchen well-equipped so we were able to make all our own meals. Bill was particularly helpful, with useful suggestions about the area.
We had a great time there, enjoyed a Tigers' game in Detroit, had several picnics on the beach, nice wine tastings, Pelée Island sight seeing, Point Pelée National Park, Riverwalk in Windsor, fresh fish right off Kingsville dock, fresh vegetables every 500 feet on the county road 20, etc ,etc.
Thank you for everything, Syrah felt right at home, we will be leaving rejuvanated, fresh and ready to plan our next vacation!!!
Thanks for creating the perfect set up for a great break from the routine,
Monique, Mario and Syrah
We had a fabulous 29 nights at this darling little guest house! The apartment was exactly as described, very charming, clean, and in a great area, just a block from Lake Erie. We took advantage of the Greenway Trails that run through Kingsville/Essex County, and many of the fabulous restaurants as well. Lili and Bill were outstanding hosts who catered to our every need and definitely went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed! Upon arrival, they had stocked our apartment with breakfast food that was SO much appreciated after traveling from Vancouver and arriving into the evening! We will definitely be back! Lili and Bill, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and appreciate everything you did for us! Thanks again!
Lili and Bill will very welcoming and made us feel comfortable in their beautiful guest apartment. The apartment is an easy drive to Point Pelee National Park. They demonstrated thoughtfulness in anticipating our needs and showed a genuine friendliness matched with professionalism.
We would certainly stay there again. They described the apartment very well and all three of our party agreed that we had an excellent experience. Great hosts!
Bill greeted us as soon as we arrived at their beautiful and quaint guesthouse. We were shown around the guest house and were encouraged that if we had any questions, we could always walk over to the main house to make our inquiries. The guest house was well-appointed, clean and comfortable. We were provided with breakfast items such as eggs, juice, bread and fruit, which was great! Kingsville was also a nice, quiet town with several food options and sites to see. Point Pelee is a short 8-10 minute drive away. My wife and I had a wonderful time and if we ever find our way back to Point Pelee area, we will definitely choose to stay with Lili and Bill again. I highly recommend this accommodation.
The hosts Lili and Bill were wonderful. The apartment was clean, organized an I truly left feeling refreshed. Location is perfect, surrounded by farmland nice neighbours, fresh markets, great for heading to Pelee island or Point Pelee. Great location for overseas visitors too. Very Canadian feel. Thank you. About the Host, Lili And Bill
We are Lili and Bill. We are very easy going and friendly. We really enjoy meeting people from all walks of life and hearing their stories, but if you prefer privacy, that's ok.
We are fairly new to the area, having moved here from Ottawa last year. We have been enjoying exploring the region while renovating the suite, and would be happy to share our discoveries. We lead a simple life, spending much of our time at home with our little dog.
