  • Luisa provided great communication throughout our booking and eventual stay. Instructions on arrival and left in an information booklet at the flat covered everything my family needed during our stay.

The flat itself was precisely as described, clean and organized, and fit our needs perfectly.

The location is great and convenient for access to the underground and walking distance to the Seine (20min).

  • Our first time using airbnb and we had a brilliant experience! From the first message, Luisa and Antoine were prompt, efficient and helpful and we felt this would be the right place for us. When we arrived, Antoine was there to meet us and gave us a detailed tour of the flat, and they also had a comprehensive folder with notes on how to find or operate everything which left us feeling very comfortable and at home. Their flat is beautifully designed, and filled with lovely details everywhere. It's like a designer pad, and we really enjoyed coming home after a day of sightseeing and being able to relax in such surroundings. There were 5 of us and yet we never felt like we were in each other's space. Each had a comfortable bed, and there were two toilets too so never a fight or a queue. Antoine also recommended a couple of restaurants which we enjoyed - and they even left us a loaf of brioche with little bottles of jam which was just one of the many lovely touches in this apartment. Would definitely recommend this place, away from the tourist hordes, but still (email hidden)ly neighborhood, near everything- shops, cafes, restaurants...Carrefour express and metro stop just around the corner a minute away. Thanks so much Antoine and Luisa for helping make our stay in Paris memorable by sharing your beautiful home with us!

  • Luisa's apartment was a great place to stay. It was easily reached via the Metro. We met with Antoine, Luisa's husband upon our arrival at the apartment, and he was very helpful and congenial. He spent plenty of time with us, explaining everything about the use of the apartment, and even left some food for us in the fridge, as well as a welcoming yummy bread and jam.

  • We just returned from our trip to Europe, 5 days of which we spent at Luisa's flat. The apartment was just as described in the listing and we could not have been happier with the experience. besides the nice amenities, Luisa was also a gracious host. She met us at the flat upon our arrival and gave us a full rundown of where everything was located and how everything worked. She also provided us with detailed directions to and from the airport which proved invaluable, and made it very easy to reach our destination after a long flight from the states.

As far as the flat itself, everything was in great condition and the location was very convenient. We enjoyed breakfast each morning at the flat, and it was a short walk to many great bakeries for warm baguettes, eggs, coffee and pastries. The close proximity to the metro station was also a big plus. There were 5 in our party and Luisa was very upfront about the space, with one person needing to sleep on the couch bed which I am told was quite comfortable.

Overall I would highly recommend this space for any future travelers!

  • Luisa and Antoine's flat is fantastic for any type of trip to Paris. The photos above don't do it justice for how nice it is.
It is only 20 second walk to a very central Metro line and the neighborhood boasts scores of cafes, bars, shops, bakeries, and other stores. Communications with the hosts were simple and stress free and they very generously accommodated our travel schedule. The flat is furnished with impeccable taste and is at once both beautiful, rustic, modern, and comfy. A total of 5 guests stayed at the flat and we each had comfortable beds and accommodations. Their kitchen is fully stocked and easy to bring your own groceries home from the market to eat at "home". The espresso machine in the kitchen rivals the more costly coffee in the nearby brasseries. The bathrooms, in particular, are very nice. The hot shower in the first bath is fantastic after a long day of exploring Paris. The bedrooms are a bit small, but the beds are plenty big. You would be hard-pressed to find a nicer and/or larger flat in Paris for this price. Do note that, like nearly all of Paris accommodations, this flat does not have air-conditioning, which might bother some Americans in the summer time. Also note, that the flat is in a "gated" community, meaning that only residents can enter the private street on nights and weekends. Overall, we had a fantastic time and will stay here on all our future Paris trip's.

  • Luisa and Antoine were delightful hosts who provided us with lots of information about both their apartment (e.g. detailed instructions on how to use appliances) and neighborhood (e.g. good restaurants). They answered our questions both before we arrived in Paris and during our stay in their apartment (e.g. how to lock/unlock their apartment door, which proved challenging for us). The apartment was clean, well organized and comfortable, although the "guest" bedroom was a bit cozy for two adults.

The apartment is located in a vibrant neighborhood with many ethnic restaurants, a tube stop nearby and a good feel about it. We enjoyed exploring the neighborhood on foot and found lots of shops that intrigued us.

Given the location, price and overall quality of the apartment, we would be delighted to rent again from Luisa and Antoine. And given the warm welcome and considerable help we got from Luisa and Antoine, we would love to share our home with them should they ever make it to Eugene, Oregon.

  • My husband and I stayed at Luisa and Antoine's flat for 5 nights and *LOVED* it! It looks exactly how it's depicted in the photos and has a wonderful industrial-romantic ambiance. We felt at home immediately and greatly appreciated the design details, style, and cleanliness!

Luisa was an extremely helpful and responsive communicator, which made everything easy. She left detailed instructions and provided a great guide with local recommendations and maps.

The location in the République was perfect! We were able to go everywhere in Paris using the metro, which was just around the corner.

Lastly, it was within walking distance from one of our favorite wine bars: La Buvette!

  • I would and will recommend this apartment to everyone who plans to visit Paris!

We had a wonderful weekend in Paris, especially because of staying at Luisa's and Antoine's beautiful place.
It was a pleasure when we finally got to meet our very nice hosts in person.
Thanks to all the provided information it was very easy to find the apartment itself, visit all the nice places in the neighborhood, find a great restaurant etc.

We instantly felt at home and really wish to come back soon!

  • Luisa and Antoine were great hosts. They gave us clear instructions on getting to their place from the airport and were there to meet us when we arrived. They showed us round their apartment and told us places they would recommend to eat and drink in the area as well as leaving a guide and maps. Their apartment is in a great location; close to several metro stations and there are plenty of bars, restaurants and shops nearby. The apartment itself is decorated beautifully and is well laid out. We really felt at home. Thanks for your friendly welcome and we really enjoyed listening to your iPod - thanks for leaving that and a few beers too! Would definitely stay here again. Loved it!
