Welcome to Nettle Cottage, a dog-friendly hideaway nestled in the heart of historic Heysham Village. Once a 1600's barn, it now offers a welcoming seaside escape just moments from the beach, costal walks, and local cafes.

With Heysham Port nearby for trips to the Isle of Man and the stunning Lake District only a short drive, its the perfect base for adventure or relaxation. Ideal for couples or small families, Nettle Cottage blends character, comfort, and convenience for an unforgettable stay.

The space
The cottage was originally constructed as an agricultural barn before later being repurposed as ''Granny Hutchinson's Nettle Tea Shop'', once a much-loved local spot celebrated for its famous nettle beer. Today, it preserves its historical character while providing a welcoming and comfortable interior, sleeping up to three people, complete with a four-poster bed, a traditional multi-fuel log burner, and a range of amenities designed to ensure a restorative stay.

Access and Keys:

A secure lockbox is located outside the property. The access code will be sent to you 24 hour prior to check-in.
Guests will have full access to the property.
Two keys are provided for the front door only.
For safety and convenience, the keys in the back door must remain in the lock at all times.
There is also a side gate which guests may use for additional access to the property.
