Beautiful place, very comfortable room! I was very happy to stay at Mary's house and taste the delicious breakfast in the morning. The best thing of all was to open my eyes in the morning watching at the river and hearing birds' singing. Magical place! And Mary was wonderful host. She even recommended us to visit Adare on our way to Ennis and explained to us about the place. I highly recommend the View House!
Excellent river view from room window as well as the lounge. Breakfast was amazing with plenty of choices.
A little bit far from city center. Wifi was not good.
We were a bit afraid after the last comment of somebody. But everything turned out to be very nice. We had a huge bedroom with a stunning view to the river. We also could choose of a great variety for breakfast and it was delicious. They were very welcoming and helpful. So we chould definitely recommend the b&b. It's not that near to the city centre but it's possible to walk.
Our second stay at Killarney View House, and Margaret and the girls made us feel most welcome. They are so helpful with arranging cabs, etc. The breakfast was just as good as we remembered, the location beside the river is beautiful, and the fire in the lounge each evening is delightfully cozy after a day of sight seeing.
On this Ireland trip, the Killarney View House was our most hotel like stay. It is a large B&B with a fun lounge that has coffee, tea, and biscuits you can enjoy with a great view of the river, a fireplace and often the company of other guests. Breakfast was a mix of self-serve and ordering. I had the traditional Irish fry and was not disappointed.
