There are several Airbnbs in Ft. Greene but Etsuko's happens to be on the same street where my son lives. Etsuko was extremely responsive from the beginning of the inquiry and flexible about our arrival time and several other details. She was just as welcoming in person - same for her wonderful roommate Joanna. Momo is a bonus - sweetest dog ever. The room was comfortable and perfect for coming-and-going both down the street and toggling between Brooklyn/Manhattan/Queens over a long weekend. Lots of great restaurants/cafes/bars steps away from her front door. Etsuko's car service recommendation also worked beautifully. Really a perfect experience for my first time using Airbnb!
About the Host, Etsuko
I am a jazz trained freelance piano/keyboard player, and teach piano privately. Also I work for retail. I am originally from Tokyo, Japan, and I've lived in Fort Greene, Brooklyn since 2003. I really enjoy meeting new people from all over the world to share the story.
I live with my lovely roommate, Lina. She is barely home, but when she is around, very fun, and respectful. She is originally from Canada, and also a professional artist.
We would like to welcome guests who are easy going, friendly, animal lover and can respect each other's space:)
I have a Border Collie/Jack russell mix dog, Momo. She is very smart, friendly, and super mellow.
