Our hosts John and Phylliss Hanna were so considerate and kind. They are not only friendly and caring hosts, but they have impeccable taste! The cottage is beautifully, yet simply designed and decorated. We felt like we were in a tropical paradise in the middle of Chico! We loved the location, central but in natural setting just on the outskirts of town, but 1.3 miles to the center of town! The space is beautifully laid out and every need met! Can't wait to go back!
The place was great! Living room was comfortable, bed was comfortable, plenty of fans and the place gets nice and cool in the summer. John was so friendly and greeted us at arrival & was so nice to leave fresh picked plums, granola bars & Greek yogurt in the kitchen. Also- great coffee. We would come back for sure. We rode bikes everywhere in Chico from this spot easily!
Awesome cottage. My 2 small service dogs and I stayed here 2 nights. Host were soo friendly and had great local tips. The street was private and perfect for walking the dogs. I even found myself walking without them (to hot for dogs in the afternoon). Large living room and kitchen. I never met the cat, but they say he is super friendly and "thinks all dogs like cats".
John & Phyllis are the BEST!!! That's why this our 2nd time back! We can't praise both of them anymore than we can as human beings and their private cottage. Thank you both very much once again, and we'll be back again.
John and Phyllis' cottage was lovely. Clean and well-furnished, my fiance and I enjoyed every moment during our stay. Phyllis was not there to greet us since she was away, but John greeted us and offered us suggestions on where to go and what to do. We requested their grill and John had prepared charcoal for us! It was an unexpectedly awesome gesture. Overall, everything was great and we didn't have to worry about anything during our stay.
Phyllis and John were fantastic hosts and we loved their place! It was absolutely perfect for our long weekend and the location is great. Phyllis and John made us feel very welcomed. We would stay here again without any hesitation - and we both enjoyed Chico so much - I have no doubt we'll be back!
Wow, We love John & Phyllis & their cat & their cute private cottage. We enjoyed our stay for three nights, what a beautiful, clean, safe, and spacious place they have. What more can we say, can't give them any higher rating than a perfect 10! We also enjoyed speaking with them, wish we could've stayed longer. Till next time. Thank you very much John & Phyllis!
